On My Way Taipei Hostel

My partner and I were booked to stay at On My Way hostel but decided to leave after seeing the room. We're both seasoned travellers and have stayed in 100s of hostels but this takes the cake for poor value and bad room (hence the warning) - it looked like a prison cell and had plastic sheets. We had booked a 'twin' which was terrible, but other reviews noted that the dorms are better - this may be the case. Would not advise booking - can get a nice hotel room for $15 usd extra nearby.

A great place with simple bedding. The staff spoke English, so no huge worries for those that don't speak Mandarin. The hostel is located about 7 minutes away from the train station; a straight shot walking down one street. The bathing/washroom facility on the 2nd floor was clean. The room was comfy. The basement is nice as well for relaxing, doing work, or even yoga.
