Best place to stay in vang vieng!

Location is awesome, close to whatever you need by foot. Pool and common area cool, would have been good to have a chill space for personal calls. I got a private room, expensive given other hostels close do a free beer happy hour and free brekkie, room itself was great and an AMAZING view of the backdrop. Staff were great, Emmie was amazing as was Thao at booking bikes / tours etc. if you want a party go here - they’ll defo get you swinging like a mad monkey if that’s your vibe. �...

We loved our stay at this Mad Monkey - the staff were amazing, made us feel so welcome and created a great atmosphere! Especially Emie, Tina and Savanna ;). We were there for the Kings Day party which was so much fun, and loved the pub crawl of course :) Really social and it’s so nice to chill around the pool during the day. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Vang Vieng!

Favourite madmonkey i’ve stayed at! Dorms and showers were good and the bar area is very social. Especially thanks to the feral hostel reps Tina and Savanna who made the atmosphere lively and welcoming😊

A great place to stay in vang Vieng offering all you could need and more, the events were lots of fun and Emie was a great host

Our stay was very good but what made out stay the best was meeting lay he was very helpful and the best staff member.

Honestly I had the time of my life! Massive shoutout to Emie and to Tina for making it such an enjoyable experience. Emie especially making sure everyone gets involved, planning great events and being a fantastic human. Also big shoutout to all the staff that helped at the bar, set up excursions, transport etc. If I get the chance I will definitely comeback and hopefully one day see everyone again :P

Savanna, Tina and Emie were incredibly helpful staff. The facilities are great, clean, comfy beds, fun pool and bar area. Good social hostel

Hostel was really social. Savannah was really nice and proper tidy. There’s a brown dog that chills here as well (really sound dog) - we’ve named him “Rough Dog”. Do not change his name.

This was my first Mad Monkey experience and I can say that nothing will ever compare to it. The staff were amazing and Emie did a fantastic job at keeping everyone involved and engaged from the pub crawl, games and karaoke. I would highly encourage anyone looking for a social hostel to stay here!

Had a great time at this hostel. The atmosphere was great and the social was even better. In particular Emie the manager was absolutely amazing whilst we were there!! Would definitely recommend staying!!!
