Casa Frida Tulum

Backpackers, this hostel has no kitchen. Showing one in the photos feels like false advertising. I didn’t read carefully and booked anyway.Positive: beds in the female dorm were comfortable. Negative: bathrooms were dirty. On the ground floor, one was broken and the others had no toilet seats, so I had to use the men’s.Staff first put us with a very sick guest despite other rooms. They moved us after we asked. I wouldn’t stay again.

Excellent staff. However they rent rooms by the hour and it doesn't feel safe with all the transient people coming and going at all hours. No lockers. No kitchen for guests. The drinking water is located in the staff kitchen and you have to ask for it. The toilets don't flush properly. 2 of the 3 toilets don't have a seat. They are always out of paper towels in the men's bathroom. The owner fired the only person who spoke English over a 20 peso mistake. It was not a good value for the money.

The staff was great. The hostel was very clean and everybody was very nice :)

Sehr nette Leute, wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt. Vor Ort konnten wir einen Quad mieten. Alles top👍🏻☺️

Me gusto es un lugar aprovechable, es centrico y muy lindo. Me parece que solo unas mejoras en los baños y servicio de televisión estaria excelente. Encantada con el personal muy amables, no hay queja del lugar solo opiniones de mejora.

Muy buena atención de todos los chicos que nos atendieron, el desayuno es perfecto y vale la pena contratarlo… muy buena onda de los recomiendo

Es una excelente opción para descansar y salir a conocer ya que se encuentra a unos metros del parque central de la ciudad, las personas que atienden son muy amables y aún más Florencia que se esmera en qué estés lo más cómodo y confortable posible, sin duda vale muchooo la pena.

I recommend staying elsewhere! The room and facilities were not as advertised. Our room was advertised as having a double bed and a twin bed. When we got there, we only had one double bed. No hot water for the entire stay. Photos showed a kitchen but there was no kitchen. Wifi did not work in our room. I thought the location was good and the staff were very friendly. We rented bikes at reception to check out Tulum but we wish we had stayed somewhere else for our last night.

Recomendable por calidad y precio, pero por sugerencia deberían colocar espejos de cuerpo completo en los baños compartidos para revisar el look antes de salir y las habitaciones huelen mucho a humedad, sería bueno trabajen en eso, una idea es mantener las ventanas y puertas abiertas y pensé en prender el ventilador para que se vaya el olor pero estaba súper sucio y pues ya mejor no me animé, probablemente mientras estaba ahí iba a ingerir todo ese polvo, pero me gustó

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour à cet endroit. Le personnel était très aimable. Je recommande!

Personnel super sympa et hostal propre et calme

Nice little spot close to the main strip of town but far enough away it’s not so noisy at night. Basic facilities but they do the job! Friendly people, but not a lot of “hang out and make new friends” space being actively used.

Wir haben das „einfach private Zimmer” gebucht. Es befindet sich im Erdgeschoss und es ist leider eine Zumutung. Das Zimmer riecht nass und schimmelig. Wir konnten Der Unterkunft ist dieses Problem wohl bekannt, denn es stehen Luft Entfeuchter herum. Die anderen Zimmer in den oberen Geschossen scheinen dieses Problem nicht zu haben. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns für mehr Geld ein anderes Zimmer angeboten. Des Weiteren kann das Zimmer nicht abgeschlossen werden!! Auch ein no go. Vor allem für da...

Das Personal spricht kein Englisch, war sonst aber sehr nett. Wir hatten ein vierer Zimmer gebucht, haben aber ein dreier Zimmer bekommen. Es gab einen Spind (für einen kleinen Rucksack), aber leider hatte unser Zimmer nur eine Lamellentür. Dabei ist aber zu erwähnen, dass andere Zimmer auf dem Flur eine richtige Tür besitzen. Es gibt keinen Kühlschrank! Das Frühstück war gut. Fahrräder können ausgeliehen werden. Gutes Streetfood direkt um die Ecke.
