BEDBUGS / PAREDES DE LA CAMA I had a terrible experience in this hostel! When I woke up, I was eye to eye with a bedbug. When I asked for a compensation for my extra expenses (laundry at 60°C etc), the boss started seriously threatening me. Absolute terrible experience. They knew about the bedbugs already btw…

Es el hostal mas feo en el que he estado. Me imaginaba algo no muy bueno por el precio. Pero no me esperaba a una casa de mas de 100 años en estado deplorable. La mayoría de los que ahí laboran son inmigrantes y se les paga por debajo de la mesa, tienen cero experiencia. Hay un perro en el hostal. En el patio se van acumulando las mierdas del perro y ningún empleado ni la pareja de propietarios se molestan en recoger mierdas de perro de 3 o mas semanas.

When I arrived at the Hostel I had to Ring a Bell to get in. Unfortunatly no Code-Lock. Then i checked in and that was really hard because the guy at the reception did not speak english and he wanted me to pay 40$ even though it Said 24$ on Hostelworld. When i finally checked in I realized that there were cockroaches all over the Place. When i reported this at the reception they declined a refund. Checked out and contacted them via WhatsApp a day after for the refund. After 3 Days no answer…

Mi estancia en Avokanto ha sido una experiencia muy especial. El ambiente es familiar, con muy buena energía, y todo está siempre impecable gracias al cuidado y atención del equipo. Es una casa antigua con mucho encanto que conserva la sensación de hogar en plena naturaleza. Pasé casi un mes allí y, además de sentirme muy bien acogida, me inspiré mucho gracias a la gente que conocí y a la autenticidad del lugar. Sin duda, lo recomiendo.

I really enjoyed my time here. I stayed a full month and the staff is helpful, respectful, and friendly. Aprendé mucho español aquí y hice muchos nuevos amigos. The garden/outside area is beautiful and the staff cooks daily, so you can usually get good food at a decent price even when the shops are closed. The kitchen is big and easily used by a few people at a time. The staff keeps the place clean all day and night and they keep it quiet at night so everyone can sleep.

Solo me quede una noche, lindo ambiente buena disposición de parte del personal del Hostel.

It works, but the atmosphere is quite dark and depressing.No AC only a loud fan and in the summer the heat is just pressing here and tou can't sleep. It is quite rundown and only has three small and dark bathrooms. The patio is quite nice but it could need a little bit of modernisation like the complete hostel itself. Price and location are why you go here, not for anything else.

Un desastre, no avisan que hay feria lis miércoles,y el auto no lo pude sacar de la cuadra en todo el día, la de recepción u a inútil total,.

The hostel needs to be renovated. The beds, pillows, kitchen, rooms are dirty. There’s 3 bathrooms for the whole hostel. Got bit throughout the night. Beds are hard. 3 plugs for the room all located in one part. 6 bed room is so small. Can hear everything through the walls especially when the room is next to reception and they’re just chatting. Also loads of strange people staying. Basically the whole thing is falling into disrepair. Hostel staff are the only good thing.

Hostel bom pelo custo-benefício. Para mim, os dois maiores problemas é que não aceita cartão, e o armário é bem pequeno, então não cabe nem a sua bagagem de mão. Pelo menos no meu quarto, não tinha tomada perto da cama.

Decent little spot in a nice part of the city

Generell war es nicht schlecht, jedoch sind da nur dauerhafte Bewohner drin. Die Gegend ist bisschen gruselig und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Also insgesamt ist es einfach kein Hostel für Reisende

The place has a great atmosphere and community, the staff is very friendly, Nico and Steffa are very helpful, same with all volunteers. They have a very sweet dog and she brings a lot of life into the place. I really recommend staying here 😁

El hostel en si no lo recomiendo. Está bastante descuidado, no tenía ventilador, jabon, toalla y la verdad es que no me sentí seguro en ningún momento. El personal muy bien, son todos amables y ayudan un montón. Siempre hay alguien limpiando.

Photos mensongères, nous avions une chambre privée qui fermait avec un cadena situé entre deux dortoirs en face de la salle de bain.. La propreté n’est pas au rdv très déçue je ne recommande pas

The hostel doesn’t have a welcoming environment, except the girl with the glasses and the guy with the hat, the rest of the staff is very unwelcoming, and treats you like your stay is an inconvenience to their lives. There are no soaps to wash your hands and the water pressure in the showers are barely enough. The whole place feels very sketchy. Most of the lockers are not working and they open the front door to whoever rings the bell. Most of the furniture is in deteriorating conditions.

La gente que trabaja en el hostel fue increíblemente amable y nos ayudó muchísimo. La atención es excelente. La ubicación es ideal. Sin embargo, no recomiendo el hostel porque: Los servicios son muy precarios incluso para un hostel económico. En los baños no había ni jabón (aunque sí estaban limpios) y uno se tapaba. La ducha era mala, una vez se me cayó en la cara mientras me bañaba. Los sillones, camas y colchones son demasiado viejos, nada cómodos. Nos robaron cosas que dejamos...

Todo muy lindo, solo un poco sucio los vamos. ubicación perfecta. Muy cerca al parque rodó
