Do not go for day trip its pretty bad

Friendly staff but nothing like the pictures. Incredibly dirty room, yellow pillow, mouldy bathroom. Wouldn’t recommend

If you ever visit Udaipur, this is the best hostel in town. Amazing staff, enviroment, people are so welcoming they will invite you to have fun every day of your stay, the owner even invited me to celebrate his birthday in the rooftop of the hostel, which has an stunning view of the city and the lake. When I'm in Udaipur again, I'll for sure stay in this place. Much love to the Whereabout Hostel ❤️

Great location and staff! Cleanliness isn’t great, especially dorm bathrooms! Not the most social hostel either

Hostel met een mooi dakterras met gaaf uitzicht en eten. Het eten was alleen wel een beetje duur, en de evening jam en dagelijkse tours werden iets te vaak aan ons aangeboden. De kamer was prima maar niets speciaals, geen gordijntjes en niet geen hele schone badkamer. Wel weer een fijne douche!

the most social hostel Ive stayed at in India. can always find people on the rooftop hanging out. staff were great and just felt like other guests. highly recommend the sunrise tour they do. it's like a mini ha Giang loop

Really enjoyed our stay at Whereabout Hostel. The highlights were the sunset and sunrise tours run by the hostel. They take you around the city, up to great viewpoints, and into the surrounding mountains which are beautiful. Highly recommend!

Nice stay with reasonable rate, will definitely recommend for solo backpackers. They also host daily events like jamming, painting, and tours around the city and mountains.

Das Personal ist ziemlich nett, jedoch sind die Betten weder bequem noch sauber. Die Dusche funktioniert gar nicht und um die Toilettenspülung nutzen zu können, muss man den Spülkasten einige aufrecht halten während das gesamte mit Toilettenwasser überschwemmt wird.

A young bunch of very friendly and kind people. The rooms are a little makeshift but it’s made up for with the character of the place. Great atmosphere and pricing

The cleanliness should be taken care of more but or else the team is very supportive and the evening trip is a must.

Whereabout Hostel is in a prime location to see all historic sites, eat at some of the best restaurants and to go to some of the better bars in Udaipur. the staff are all super welcoming and i got on well with the other people in the hostel. the value for money here is unmatched.

Stayed in many hostels but this was my first solo trip and i went with whereabout. It was a completely overwhelming experience, most coziest hostel ever been. Met too many fellow travellers shared stories and experienced many lush green udaipur fields. Hritik, himanshu and prince from whereabout are now like family to me.

Best hotel I ever stay loved the rooftop vibe and staff is awesome. Himanshu is awesome and very helpful

really nice spot. staff are very nice and accommodating. I did the scooter morning tour and it was amazing (great value). would stay here again for sure.

Location and facility with top roof terace are perfect. Clean rooms with nice artistic paintings and decorations. Beautiful style. Professional staff ready to help. Great atmosphere

10/10! Amazing hostel. Loads of staff keeping the place super clean, the facilities and food are great -most importantly the staff were such nice people. All kind hearted and welcoming and always making sure everyone’s happy and comfortable. Shout out to Firoz and his friends for going the extra mile and helping me get my bus and for the ice cream and cake to celebrate woman’s day!! See you all soon, you’re all amazing. Very good hostel to explore Udaipur. It is close to all the memorable places. The common area and the rooftop are perfect for hangout. Staff was always friendly and interested in their guests. Also they prepare tasty food. On top it is absolutely affordable. Thanks guys and take care.
