Property attempts to overcharge everyone on check in. Most people probably don’t notice. They claim an exchange rate that is 25-33% different from the actual one. Extremely dishonest behavior and enough reason to not stay here IMO Tried to put me in a different room to the one I paid for Tours sold are the most expensive of any hostel or company in the area (all the same tours) Staff generally unhelpful. Great location, awesome rooftop views, good price for private rooms but it is loud to sleep because so many people do early (3am) tours Potential to be very social, Harol the bartender was great to create conversation & vibe Construction was loud but the extension will be great once finished
Very friendly staff and excellent service! Especially convenient: after our Colca Canyon tour, we were still able to take a shower and leave our luggage there. Highly recommended!
A good hostel just a 10 minute walk from Plaza de Armas, with a great rooftop deck and bar and hammocks overlooking the city. Comfortable beds too!
Great little hostel in a quiet neighborhood near the main plaza. Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly.
A short but sweet stay. Room and bathroom were basic but clean - lacking plug sockets. Communal areas were well looked after. Didn’t experience any social side as we were not there long enough. Hosts were really good at organising the colca canyon tour last minute, but no staff at the desk upon arrival. Could store our luggage for free - thank you!!!
The breakfast was amazing with a great view too!
Very happy with this stay. Good water pressure, hot showers. Excellent view of the volcanos from the rooftop. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it is close to the city center and attractions
The staff were very nice, but overall we were very disappointed with the hostel. Our room smelled, and there was a water leak.
Très bonne auberge. Calme, propre, cuisine fonctionnelle, terrasse avec les hamacs très sympa, petit dej salé ou sucré selon les envies !

Super Hostel! Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, das Frühstück lecker und die Aussicht unglaublich. Maria an der Rezeption ist einfach ein Engel und hat uns das Gefühl gegeben als wären wir zu Hause.
super nice hostel with great personal which helps out with everything, they also helped me to organize private places in Colca Canyon, which you cannot find in the web. And actually, I did not only stay one, but three times there. over all, highly recommended, also because it is in a traffic free area, and south america is loud, so a really good place to properly sleep 👻🙃
Je me suis directement senti bien au Lonko Hostel. Le personnel est vraiment très accueillant, le dortoir impeccable et la terrasse au 4e étage est magnifique pour la vue sur la ville, les volcans aux alentours et siroter un pisco délicieux. En plus, le gérant Alex donne des super bons conseils pour toutes les activités possibles, notamment le trek au Cañon del Colca. Je recommande vivement !!
