La Posada del Misti

Fantastic, especially for "serious" backpackers needing the basics without wasting preciuos dollars on the frills. Super Well located and while the kichen just scraped through the outside courtyard was a real winner. Maximo and staff Amelia were super helpful and obliging.

Es un hospedaje sencillo, se valora la cordialidad del personal de recepción. Las instalaciones por mejorar bastante, las paredes rajadas, despintadas, se van desmoronando sus paredes. Tiene una cocina que funciona, pero el ambiente luce descuidado, las tuberías de agua se cruzan por la puerta de la cocina, no tiene buena iluminación su patio. Su baño con rejilla que hace de desfogue y el olor fuerte a gas tóxico entra a la habitación impidiendo el buen descanso. Las fotos no estan actu...

Overall was not satisfied with my stay here. The description states that breakfast or soap is included, which both you will not receive there. The bed didn’t seem to be cleaned since there were several hairs on pillows and sheets. Attention from the staff was very poor aswell, sometimes there was no one available at the reception. Only plus is that you are a 15min walk to the city centre, and obviously it is quite cheap.

Es acorde al precio. No es un alojamiento para sociabilizar y estar chill ahí, es más que nada para pasar la noche. Ofrecen dos tipos de desayuno por 5 y 9 soles. Teníamos un bus por la tarde y pudimos dejar las cosas en el alojamiento para no cargar con ellas todo el día

Hot showers! Friendly and accommodating staff, great location, very secure. Good breakfast BUT staff was unclear about how to get it. Sign said 8:30 so we got up at 8:30 to be informed you have to tell them you want it. Aside from that minor annoyance- place was great. A hostel!!! Not a hotel so maintain that expectation. Room was warm, enough blankets. Hot water, warm room, safe, nice staff, mostly quiet. Would stay again.

I really liked my stay in La Posada del Misti and would gladly stay there again. Staff were very nice and friendly. l liked the location and the tours l booked through the hostel.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The communication per WhatsApp went well. I got a free room upgrade. The showers and the locks on the doors are a bit tricky, but you will get an introduction. If you manage it, you can get nice hot water. I also could leave my stuff I don't need on a hike in the Colca Canyon for free in the hostel. It's a simple hostel with not much facilities, but it's a nice value for money and only a few minutes walk from the center.

Emplacement calme et près du centre-ville à pied. Le personnel est très gentil et le propriétaire est sympathique et serviable. Les chambres sont confortables et les espaces communs sont simples et pratiques. Très bon rapport qualité-prix ! Et les chats sont très mignons :) J’ai apprécié mon séjour, merci :)

I mean, amazing value for £3! Not particularly clean but not dirty. Shower was a bit complicated to work and hot water came on and off. Lots of complicated locks to get in, 3 keys! Staff were very nice. Definitely stay again for a layover.

Cheap, basic hostel in a decent location. Shower got hot if you followed the instructions and there was a kitchen you could use. It is not modern or that clean, but it is fine. There are cats so beware if you have allergies. Room opened on a communal area so some guests were noisy at night and in the morning. Good laundry service at the hostel and the staff were all nice.

A great budget option for your stay in Arequipa. It's quirky in some ways (tricky to find, no obvious way to gain entry initially, the process of using the shower is somewhat complicated), but I think the value outweighs any negatives. The owner, Maximo, is very welcoming and helpful. It's pretty much just him running the show there, so you can't necessarily expect that he will always be available right away if you need something. I've been super well at this place. The owner, Maximo, is super nice and really easygoing. I definitely recommend this place if you wanna travel cheap and happy with little. If you're a 5 star hotel person I don't think that's for you.

Max le gérant est aux petits soins, très arrangeant. Douche chaude, nous avions le dortoir pour nous toutes seules car il organise pour que chacun puisse avoir son espace. La cuisine est équipée au minimum mais fonctionnelle.
