Great hostel to stay in, conveniently placed to get around the centre of the city great staff and a nice cafe bar with a good discount for residents.

This is hands down the best place to stay in Kyiv: great location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and delicious food at Lipa café with a hostel guest discount. I stayed here with my kids — they absolutely loved it and are already asking when we can come back!

It was pretty quiet and safe while I was there. Everything seemed pretty new and clean. The kitchen could have been a little bigger with another fridge, as there seemed to be a bunch of longer-term people staying there (not your typical backpacker crowd here). The staff are super friendly, and they have a great laundry room! The cafe next door is good, and you get a discount too. You have to go up a hill to get to the metro - but the scooters are cheap and easy to use in Kyiv.

The property felt very secure. Everyone was nice. The place was clean and spacious even. The bar connected to it was great and the overall location was perfect

The place has a cool industrial-tech vibe fused with older architecture. the walls and floors leading to the rooms are dressed in black OSB board panels and the rooms have comfortable bunks and plenty of lockable storage with beautiful old stone window frames pouring in light. the reception is unground as well as a great cafe which both have lecture hall terrace seating on one side that's great for reading. The funky orange statues add to the mystic along with all the digital security overlays.

Staff was great, room was nice. There's a cafe and bar in the building with a great atmosphere and cool people. Only lost points on the shower situation-- the water came from barrel drums via electric pump so it smelled a bit rubbery and plasticky. Other than that minor issue, great experience!!

Fantastic staff, terrific rooms, lovely cafe attached with good, affordable food. This was one of the most memorable places I've stayed, mostly for the clientele. Not many travellers, but a great place to speak to others and get the lay of the land. Currently both short- and long-term guests, so you'll always find someone on your wavelength. And I can't say enough about how obliging and friendly the staff are. You guys are amazing! Слава Україні!

The only problem for me is that the nearest Metro station is a half hour walk from the hostel. Otherwise, great! Especially the staff. Even the cleaning ladies were nice, smiling and saying “Добре ден”. Thank you Nazar, for being so friendly and helpful! Onej issue with the laundry; please, please put out a copy of the washing machine instructions in English!! I would never have figured out how to do it if one of the cleaning ladies hadn’t shown me how.

Great place in Kyiv, central to train, close to downtown, competent staff.

Superb. Central accommodation among lively streets, with friendly staff, good food, clean rooms, both dorms and private, lively bar in the evening, generator and good Wi-Fi. One of the places I’ve stayed anywhere.

Globe Runner is a lovely hostel with excellent staff.

Felt like I was in a hotel for the price of a hostel! Huge kitchen with an adjacent café with excellent food and great prices! Went during the conflict as a solo backpacker and felt safe knowing I had a home to come back to. Kyiv as a whole is amazing and there’s no tourists when there’s the threat of an airstrike!

Great stay in Kyiv. Location was perfect. The staff were friendly and super helpful. It was also very nice to have a restaurant in the same building. Will absolutely stay here again when I’m back in Kyiv.
