Atmosphere was super quiet and not really social when I was there :// some of the staff were great and loved a chat ! Had activities throughout the day other than water based but felt less organised
Great place. A tad on the expensive side
Schönste Unterkunft in Fiji! Atemberaubende Insel, schöner Starnd, sehr leckeres Essen, herzliches Personal, liebevoll für Familien, Paare und auch für Solo-Backpacker ein super Ort um Leute kennenzulernen. Absolute Empfehlung!
1st stop of four islands on my yasawa's trip. Journey there was great and a very warm welcome is laid on at the resort. Was in a shared Dorm. Beds were fine if a little creaky and the room temperature was always fine for sleeping. Resort has great snorkeling just out the front and several scuba trips if you want to pay extra. Sadly every day I was there was too windy to take a kayak out but you can't change the weather. Marine talks were very interesting. Food was fine.
Wonderful place to stay. Charming personnel, bathrooms clean, safety dorms, great places to chill out like the swimming pool, beach and hammocks. Shark dive is a must do, even if you had never dive, you can dive for first time with bull sharks for around 400FJD. No panic, they will give you an introductory lesson in the swim pool. Furthermore, snorkel, paddle surf and kayak is free. The only but is that food package could seems a little bit expensive, around 145FJD, but food is really good.
Great stay. Clean Dorm, and it wasn’t too hot in the tents. Everyone is super nice and the food is great especially on days with buffet. They provide a lot of veggi/vegan options. Was a great weekend, would recommend staying here but maybe the food is a bit too expensive.
amazing staff
A hostel that feels so homely with the amazing staff who takes care of you so well. Highly recommend the shark dive - book in advance if you have to!!! Barefoot Kuata is a must on your list
The workers there are the nicest people I have met. They really seemed to care and even remembered your name. The rooms were cleaned daily and the dorms are big enough for the amount of people. There is nearly no hot water at the showers and while I was there there was no drinkable tap water. So I had to buy water bottles which are quite expensive. The food was alright, nothing special. The Resort feels like a family and it is reenforced by the dinner times when everyone is at the same place.
Amazing stay, wonderful staff and incredible shark dive!
I had the most beautiful time here! The staff are incredible, so friendly and they really look after you. The island is picturesque, so beautiful and exactly what I had in mind when I thought 'Fiji'. It's the perfect place to kick back, relax, go snorkelling, enjoy some good food and just chill. Thank you I'll be coming back! xx
everything was perfect
Amazing stay! The food is absolutely delicious, the staff are top tier, the island is beautiful. Wish we stayed longer.
Really nice resort in the yasawas. The snorkelling and diving with sharks is a really unique experience, loved it. Great pool area with hammocks to relax, good food and staff is wonderful. There is not that much to do at the resort tho, not that many activities and I found the snorkelling better in other places
Lovely staff and excellent activities, we had a great time here. They catered well for vegan food, we saw some beautiful sea life, made lovely friends and enjoyed the breathtaking island! Thank you for showing us your beautiful home and teaching us about your culture!
There doesn't seem to be much to do other than reefs shark snorkeling and diving. Conservation talks What the conservation talks said was different from what the instructor did, actually the instructor led us to touch the coral. As for the mandatory meal plan, it is probably a very mediocre buffet and for that a little pricey. More fish and seafood would be great, but it's a pity for two days, not a single piece. What’s even scarier is that every day, at least a hundred tourists from 1-day tour...
12/10 resort! Cannot praise this place enough and what made it was the people. Idyllic setting, good food (buffet style), PLENTY of activities (snorkelling, swimming, paddle, kayak) but also lots planned each day with a timetable notice board (singing dancing, medicinal walks, Fijian lesson etc). The staff were soooo friendly and always willing to go the extra mile, they shared a lot about the Fijian culture which made it an invaluable trip! Thank you barefoot kuata we will be back!!
Food is a rad pricey for the offerings, but excellent variety and taste.
My partner did the bullshark dive here and it was the best thing he’s ever done! The dive team were lovely and very helpful. The pools were small but nice for a quick dip! The room were lovely and had aircon and a fan.
