Bring ear plugs. There is loud music in the garden almost every night. And lots of poor dorm etiquette, like loud phones and talking at night and in the mornings. No hot water. The dorm has single beds instead of bunks, curtains for privacy and lots of storage space. Air-conditioning. A well-stocked kitchen. The staff are friendly. I didn't like that a guest was vaping in the kitchen when the hostel supposed to be tobacco free other than the garden I believe. Great location in San Antonio.
It’s cheap hostel. No hot water in the shower & no keys to the door. Makes one quite vulnerable. But it is central & walkable everywhere, more suitable to Columbian & Mexican Tourists who speaks Spanish. Overall s reasonably priced place to put one’s head down.
Loud reggae music all day and night. Front door was left unlocked and the front desk unattended. Fairly clean except sometimes the back yard left messy after partying. Beds very hard and not comfortable for me. It was fine, didn’t hate it, but didn’t give a nice feeling. Still probably one of the best hostels in the city.

Great hostel, very clean and nice facilities. Staff were very relaxed and helpful, especially Tomas who made sure everyone had a good time and took us out to events in the evening.
Really beautiful space that seems to be very connected to the art scene in Cali. The bartender makes incredible cocktails with viche, a local alcohol, and it’s very easy to connect with other guests and with the people who work her. The six bed room is spacious, there is a nice kitchen, and a big TV with Netflix. It feels like a home.
Absolutely amazing hostel. The staff are like family, so welcoming and all the dorm beds are single beds which lift up to store your luggage under. And it's ensuite!!! Nice size, as there's other people around but not overwhelming. Would definitely stay here again 😀
Une auberge au top ! Et un grand merci à toute l’équipe qui est juste adorable. Ils sont tous extrêmement gentils, serviables, et souriants. L’emplacement est idéal, l’auberge est propre et parfaitement tenue : on s’y sent comme à la maison.

This place is very special, highly recommend if you wanna get to know some very fun people, and want to experience what locals like. Can’t put our stay into words but let’s say we had the best new years we’ve ever had here with the hosts that run this place. Thanks again guys, wish we could come back!
One of my favorite hostels I’ve been to! They are so kind and accommodating. It is quiet and a beautiful area. They are sweet and a small business and definitely deserve anyone who comes to stay.

Beautiful hostel with an incredible backyard. The 6 person dorm is probably the best and most spacious dorm I’ve ever seen. Great mattresses too. Thanks so much!
Better place to stay in cali ♥️ they’re like a big family, you’ll feel like home. Everyone is nice and I’m saying that as someone who’s always choose to stay at airbnb. But this place worth more. You’ll have like a big family’s house and still have peace. They also has a pool, the dog Canela is the best part of the hostel and the kitchen and location is really nice also.

Patio del Rio is a gorgeous place with terrace in the heart of San Antonio. It is nice, relaxed hostel where you immediately feel like home. We kept extending, since it was nice to have little feeling of home while travelling. There is events and it is very close to many Salsa schools.

AWESOME hostel. very clean, comfortable beds, great kitchen. it was a social atmosphere but also very relaxing. staff is friendly and helpful and the area is nice. hopefully I will be back
I stayed at Patio del Rio for a couple of nights. Perfect location, in the middle of San Antonio in between all kinds of restaurants, dance schools, close to a park and in between two nice bakeries (breakfast places). When I got to the hostel, the receptionist already knew my name. She gave me a tour around the hostel and showed me my room. It is super clean! There's a chill vibe, that was exactly what I was looking for. Also, there's a beautiful dog guarding the place. I feel very secure!
