Amazing staff, super clean, near to public transportation, I had troubles with the room lights and that’s it I recommend it 💯
This is more a self serve place to just eat and sleep. The kitchen utilities were nice and there were plenty of showers. The common area is just 1 table and nobody was there the whole time. Nice place just no community or staff.
I knew it was a mistake when I walked in, any hostel with a remote staff isn't going to be a place I like. They tell you point blank that your car may be broken into and your bike stolen, it's located in a seedy area, the sheets smelled sour and that has got to be the smallest bed I have ever been in. Seriously, lying down my nose was around 6" from the bunk on top! No lockers in the room either. The best part was there are two induction stoves but no pots that work with induction stoves. Descent, affordable option, peaceful location, conveniently close to Hertz car rental. Late check-in is an option (on request) but hope they send you the right room number and code. No atmosphere at all, I have hardly seen anyone (guests or staff).
I've stayed at many hostels in North America and this is the first I've seen that doesn't have staff on site. The code to enter the building is provided by text. A code is also used to open the lock box by the assigned room door which reveals the key to enter the room. The room is small and has two triple bunkbeds. It's like sleeping in a drawer. I'm of average height and my knees hit the bottom of the bed above me. Other than that everything is extremely clean. There's a kitchen and fridge.
My first time to stay at a hostel. Was excellent. Only problem is that my phone doesn't have wifi unless I am at a location for wifi. Had trouble getting into the building. I was impressed at how clean and quiet the place is. Sleeping was a problem because it is not air conditioned and I could not get the fan on. I am not used to the heat. That was uncomfortable.
Great location, nice staff, clean environment. It would be perfect if the space between bunks is more spacious and checkout time be 11:00 am. However it’s still the best place to be recommended in Salt Lake City.
Beds should have curtains for privacy.
A great practical hostel that was very clean & functional. I would definitely stay here again for my next ski trip in Utah
