Tinto Hostel

The best hostal I’ve been to in Colombia so far, also one of my favourite I’ve been to anywhere. It’s clean, spacious, green, quiet, in the centre of town, cheap, the rooms are big and comfortable, the hostal is kind and helpful, the kitchen is outdoors and well equipped, there are hammocks, there’s a pool. It’s just fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.

L'accueil de Janvier était exceptionnel ! J'ai pu avoir accès à mon lit malgré le fait que je sois arrivé très en avance et il m'a donné de nombreuses recommandations sur la ville ! La piscine est un vrai bonheur vu la température à cette époque ! Tout était très propre et le prix est imbattable ! Le seul petit bémol est l'absence d'eau potable mais je crois que la gestion de l'eau est un peu compliqué dans la région.

Macondo Hostel was amazing. The garden is beautiful. They also have a kitchen. It is in good location, really close to the main square. The room was spacious, we even had a balcony! Staff is nice, they help you with everything.

Super hostel, et le personnel est au petit soin ! J’ai vraiment passé un agréable moment !

Beautiful hostel! Slept there for One Night while the camino real. Very friendly owner with good informations in Englisch. The fredge was out of order, but I don‘t needed it. So lovely built and special . Highly recommend it. Also for longer. The pool lookes a little dearty but I used it and it was great!

Wonderful hostel, very peaceful, various lovely sitting areas amidst green plants and colonial architecture. Pool was a great plus. Our room had no typical bunk beds but three individual beds, each one with a lot of privacy, and a private bathroom for the three of us. Staff very friendly. Extremely recommended. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Great hostel

I really enjoyed my time at the Tinto Hostel, it has a beautiful outdoor area and it’s a perfect place to get some rest. The kitchen is well equipped. I would have stay longer if I had the time!

This hostel is so beautiful, a little paradise in Barichara. We got the bunkbeds and they were nice and spacious. Towels are included and there is a pool and a kitchen free to use. Only downside is that the showers can be cold, but it is really no problem in this heat. It was actually really easy to get here from Bogotá. We took the Copetran bus and stayed the night in San Gil because the last bus to Barichara goes at 8 pm (the first at 6 am). Then goes every 30th min. Bring mosquito spray ofc.

Les extérieurs de l'hostel sont superbes, avec de la jolie végétation et des petits espaces pour s'asseoir, manger, s'allonger ds un hamac, regarder le lever du soleil ou caresser un chat. Le dortoir est très sombre et un peu vieillot mais confortable (max de 3 personnes slmt), et la cuisine mériterait un peu plus d'équipements mais jai eu tout ce dont j'avais besoin au final! J'ai egalement toujours eu de l'eau chaude pour mes douches! Staff accueillant. Prfait pour un environnement très...

Un beau lieu de résidence paisible, doté d'un jardin luxuriant et de différents espaces détente. Vue magnifique de la terrasse et personnel très sympa, à disposition pour toute demande.

Amazing hostel, incredible food, the lasagne was so good! Loved the vibe it was one of the most relaxing hostels I’ve been in on my 3 month trip
