My Family In Merida Hostel

Was not at all as expected. Far away from the city center in a very boring neighbourhood. No people and quiet, so not social unfortunately. Common areas were not clean and not nice. Room was ok, but bathroom had a clogged sink. Not the worst place, but they have a way too high rating here on HW in my eyes, so therefor an extra low score from me this time, to help make their score more realistic to what you can expect from the place.

The location is about 17 blocks from downtown, but on a major route so bus or uber are easy. There are tiny, cheap, delicious, authentic restaurants nearby. My room (private with ensuite) was perfect and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Only complaint is the neighbour's dog that likes to bark for 2 hours every night. The pool is tiny and needs some TLC but still nice after a day in the heat. I appreciated being able to do laundry. Kitchen is not very tidy, but everything else is clea...

La verdad uno no esperaba mucho del lugar, pero al visitarlos la estancia es cómoda, tiene buena privacidad y la zona donde se ubica totalmente céntrica, altamente recomendable les agradezco mucho y esperamos visitarlos de nuevo pronto, execelente trato que de verdad sorprende y costo accesible ✨🙏☺️ 10/10

Un hostal hermoso 🤩 la casa es originaria la casa de la abuela se siente toda la cultura maya Es un lugar con un jardín hermoso para prácticas de YOGA, te hacen sentir en familia

Super hostel, j’ai adoré y séjourné Le cadre est très agréable. Les dortoirs de 4 sont très appréciable. La propreté est nickel, la cuisine bien équipé. Juste un petit défaut : un petit peu loin du centre ville, mais il y a des bus. Je recommande si vous êtes de passage à Merida

Super quiet place. Ideal for a relaxing break. The garden with pool also invites you to do so. The possibility of cooking in the spacious kitchen with the best equipment is great. Unfortunately, there are hardly any shopping facilities nearby, but there is a bus station nearby where every bus goes to the centre.

Wir hatten das private Doppelzimmer am Ende des Hostels, direkt mit einem Pool vor der Tür, welchen niemand anderes nutzte. Das Hostel ist minimal mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet und ins Zentrum läuft man gut und gerne eine halbe Stunde. Unser Host ist unfassbar liebenswert und hat uns sogar noch zum Bahnhof gebracht. Das Hostel wirkt sehr privat und mit Leuten zu connecten war nicht leicht. Für einen ruhigeren Rückzugsort ist es perfekt.

Really great place Location is slightly out the way but can get a bus or walk. We walked back late every night

From my point of view everything was PERFECT!! I couldn’t ask for a better place or service, the Hostess was nice, attentive super helpful. I will 100% going back there. Thank you My Family in Merida Hostel. I will miss you. 🙏
