Seoul Forest Stay

I cannot thank Richard enough for his kindness! My flight was delayed and he let me check in at 10am. He was very communicative via email for all my questions. The bed was comfy and each bed had their own outlet plug! There is shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the shower. Also hairbands, bandaids, toothbrushes, and random amenities are available. It was a shame it was rainy because the rooftop area looked really nice to hang out on! The kitchen is huge and stocked with tea and coffee.

The host was an absolute angel and the sweetest person and the location was great for accessing Seongsu but unfortunately there was a bit of mold

Richard est un hôte formidable, très accueillant, disponible à chaque moment pour répondre à vos doutes et pour converser une bonne atmosphère et un espace agréable pour les baroudeurs ou ceux de passage. Les chambres, la cuisine et la salle de bains sont très propres, on s'y sent vraiment bien. L'endroit est calme et devient chaleureux quand les gens se retrouvent dans la cuisine. Rien à redire sur mon séjour du 19 au 24 mars 2026.

C'etair super, la chambre etait très confortable et propre, et Richardqqui nous a accueilli a ete adorable avec nous !

Very nice place with easy access to metro, staff were friendly and helpful. Only downsides were common areas being only smoking area and kitchen.

Das Hostel war ausgezeichnet! Richard ist super an der Reception und sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend! Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und es ist alles nötige vorhanden für einen guten, angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das einzige, was man bemängeln könnte ist, dass die Dusche und das WC nicht getrennt sind und beim Duschen das Wasser sich im ganzen Badezimmer verteilt. Aber sonst super! zu empfehlen :)

I booked this hostel in a bit of a haste and I was so so so SO pleased with my experience. I was only staying for the night and I landed late, it took me a couple hours to get there by public transit and I was able to easily check myself in and out because of the circumstances. Location was good enough to find food for the night and the owner was so helpful and kind, the facilities were absolutely fabulous for my needs and if I find myself back in the area again, I will absolutely be rebooking h...

Had an amazing stay at this hostel, the owner Richard was incredibly nice and helpful, definitely the friendliest owner we've met. If you're looking for a social hostel I wouldn't say it's for you but other than that we loved our stay and would definitely recommend

Das Hostel hat mir gut gefallen! Richard ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Auch die Lage ist super. V. a. der Park Seoul Forest habe ich als ein Highlight wahrgenommen. Eine grüne Oase in der großen Weltstadt direkt neben an. 😀

Very welcoming, close to Line 2 of the subway and thus to the rest of the city. The staff is helpful and so, so nice.

Nice guy at the reception, could give many recommendations for the city and nearby area! Subway and bus stations are also pretty close. Would definitely come again!

The beds were fine and staff friendly but the bathrooms weren’t very clean , the room had a really strong air freshener smell and i don’t think the hostel has a very sociable atmosphere. The rooms have access codes but i was surprised that the main door didn’t. However it was raining when I was here - maybe better if the weather is good and the rooftop is available! The area has nice cafes / restaurants / bars and is pretty well connected

The hotel probably has the best staff of all my travels. Thank you for giving me a second key for the duration of my stay, as well as for the kindness and approach in general Cozy kitchen, has everything you need. Clean hotel. Toothbrushes. Location close to the metro and park. All the bar streets and supermarkets are nearby. I definitely recommend it. And I hope to come back someday.

Very nice spot, lovely rooftop but minimal common area

Richard was super friendly so staff was amazing! We could leave our stuff there for the day on the day we were leaving. Good location. There’s a kitchen though it’s a bit dirty. Also at least the female bathroom was dirty. Couldn’t lock the shower doors. I almost didn’t see anyone else there so don’t know about the atmosphere. Lockers in rooms. The 4 bed female room where we stayed was tiny though. Overall very good for the price.

Great option for the price

Great hostel in a great location and the owner was such a great host who speaks great English and was very helpful with sites around town.

So lovely in every way!! Really thankful to the staff for helping me in a bit of an emergency, and the location is in one of my favorite spots in town. The biggest thing that stood out to me was the generosity- there’s loads of toiletries, chargers and hair appliances you can take/borrow which you don’t see everywhere :).

Perfect place to explore Seoul. Nitpicking, but the bed curtains could cover the whole bed considering they installed them. Could also do with an extra sink in the bathroom. Otherwise no faults. Stay here!

Good location near metro station and Seoul Forest in a nice neighbourhood. Downside was the dorms had way too many beds for the tiny size of the room. I could barely squeeze in between the beds to get to my locker. There are big lockers which is nice.
