The people make this place special, but the facilities are great too. Clean bathrooms, multiple kitchens, and a patio where people socialize. I came back to this hostel because the staff are great people and make you feel at home :)
Staff was very nice, breakfast is worth it. Bathrooms could be cleaner and the storage in the rooms could be better since a normal backpack doesn’t fit. Overall really nice stay!!

La estructura en general muy buena y la ubicación también, pero fue sobretodo la gente que trabaja aquí que vuelven el hostal Casa Volante un sitio inolvidable, José el mejor manager de un hostal que encontré hasta ahora, sabe crear un clima social muy inclusivo y de buena onda, y también fue una suerte encontrar todo el grupo de personas voluntarias, un equipo maravilloso que hacen sentir no sólo un ambiente acogedor, sino también una familia muy abierta:) Gracias
This Hostal is located on the heart of Valparaiso, the staff are really nice and it has a good vibe and lots of common areas you can hang around and meet people. They also have a pasta and wine night you can join. It has a common kitchen and breakfast for an extra fee. Perfect for a few nights in Valparaiso.
Hostel très bien placé. Le staff est super sympa ! Les espaces communs sont bien aménagés et la déco est très cool. Les dortoirs sont ok, mais douches et salles de bains pourraient être mieux niveau propreté.
Really friendly staff. Check in was good. However - there are lots of rules including heavy fines (I didn’t break any, it just seems unwelcoming!). For a hostel with quiet hours, it was not very quiet. Room is old with mould on the walls. Bathrooms are also small and run down. Doors all close very loudly and the lock on ours didn’t work properly. Location is perfect for visiting Valparaiso.

Great stay in Valparaiso in a sprawling hostel, You better love stairs because they are every where here and in Valparaiso,Lots of spaces to chill and large kitchen, I wish they weren't as seperated
+ Viaggiavo da sola, ma fossimo stati in due la camera sarebbe stata comunque perfetta perché spaziossima. Il bagno era esterno dotato di chiave quindi ho potuto li lasciare ascougamani e beautycase. Ho apprezzato moltissimo i mirales a parete che davano un tocco frizzante. Super il tavolino con le sedie, e l'originale appendiabiti al posto di un srmadio che avrebbe sacrificato lo spazio attorno al letto.
- Avrei tanto apprezzatocun bagno solo un po' piú spazioso e areato. Se dovessi tornare proveró il bagno in condivisione, tanto per fare un'esperienza diversa.
El chavito que pusieron a atender no me gustó para nada su trato, para todo lo que se le preguntaba era un no anticipado con jeta, se sentía la mala onda y andaba como queriendo aparentar autoridad con sus compañeras voluntarias (andaba de lucidito diríamos en México), de esos lugares donde se nota y mucho la preferencia hacia el turista europeo - estadounidense, con ellos súper simpáticos y sonrisita queriendo hacer plática y con uno muy frío y seco el trato, en instalaciones apenas bi...

- Que cerraran la cocina muy temprano.
Das Gebäude ist sehr alt, vor allem die Bäder und Zimmer könnten mal renoviert, oder gereinigt werden. Trotz dessen hat das Hostel seinen charme und ist einen Besuch wert.
