It was really quiet out of season but I got upgraded to a private, single room and given the local tips and tricks to see. Hired a board and got some tips from the live-in surf instructor too. It was great, clean and it was fresh sourdough for breakfast!
Fantastic place to stay in Newquay, definitely the best out of the two options. Staff are some of the nicest in any hostel I’ve stayed in, the vibe is cool and also a great location. I was initially hesitant regarding the security of the house but it was fine, and Newquay is also a safe town.

Très bon séjour dans cette auberge. L'équipe est très sympathique, et l'ambiance cosy et familiale permet de rencontrer facilement les autres personnes de l'auberge, tout en gardant une ambiance calme et accueillante. L'auberge en elle même est agréable, avec des espaces pour se poser qui permettent de se sentir un peu chez soi même en voyage. Je recommande vivement cette auberge !!
no lockers in rooms, sink right next to my pillow which splashed me when other guests were using it. Otherwise generally social place and good location
Amazing stay here! Facilities, staff, atmosphere etc were all so great, location is perfect so close to Fistral Beach as well as the shops/town. Only thing to note is that the shared dorms are very small areas. Couldn’t recommend staying here enough - I hope to be back.

By far my favourite stay at a hostel. The place has a great vibe with friendly staff. With the communal areas it is a great place to meet new people. For the price you can’t go wrong staying here. Can’t wait to come back again.
Brilliant hostel full of great people, perfect laid back social atmosphere for a surf hostel, staff made this place feel like a big house share. Kitchen and two living areas made this somewhere you could genuinely hang out and relax, easy to meet people and great location close between town and fistral beach.

I was hesitant to write this because once people find out how amazing the Hostel staff and the owner Sophia is I'm afraid that it will be overbooked. Honestly the best Hostel not only in NewQuay but just a overall best hostel I have ever stayed at. You really do walk in as a guest and leave feeling as if you're part of the family. Everyone there was super kind, warm, and welcoming. If I could give 20/10 I would without hesitation. Thank you Sophia and all the staff for everything ❤️❤️❤...

We did have a really good time here! It’s a good place to meet up with other travellers and go surfing or hiking! Definitely wanna come back! The staff is so nice, it feels like being part of a family! Thank you guys(:
