Emerald Fields

Rooms were not comfortable, not enough toilets. After check in we were unable to find anyone from reception again and there’s a shared kitchen on the first floor but they didn’t give us the code to access if you’re staying on the second floor. Not enough blankets so I was a bit cold at night

Attention was good but they ask for too much information not necessary, they contact you by WhatsApp because they aren't in reception 24 hours. Felt unsafe and lockers were too small and not functioning.

Great for price. Staff is lovely and accommodating. Location is perfect.

On the first morning we were here, a random man snuck off the street and easily got into a bed in our room, the staff kicked him out later and nothing was stolen but the security here is pretty bad, doors are left open and unlocked and some room doors don’t lock at all. There is also not a lot of space in the storage lockers, and they are outside of the dorm rooms. The location was very good and the bathrooms varied on cleanliness. Didn’t experience any bed bugs that other reviews mention

while the price is very reasonable for the location, facilities need an update. its ok for a night or two

The receptionist was kind and the hostel was located near the centre which was also very good. But everything Else was very disaspointing. The rooms and the baths were very dirty. At some times there was no warm water and the shower head was completely broken. There we're also no rooms to socialize or anything like that. But the worst part were the Bedbugs. And all of that fot a comparetively high price. So please do yourself a favour and don't book this Location.

Location and hosts were very good. The place was cleaned daily and beds were okay, but unfortunately the place was maintained terribly . Lot of places were broken or just simply very old. The kitchen was very minimal and the yard was more of a dumpplace for old matresses. Not very nice to come "home" to. For me 25€ a night was too much for what i got.

Buen alojamiento, buena ubicacion y personal amable.

The most basic hostel ever. Everything is outdated and could do with a refresh. No lockers in the rooms and beds very noisy and the bed linen was stained. We didn’t have any problems with bed bugs which was relieving as some prior reviews were a bit concerning. The location was great, walkable to all the main attractions. Definitely nicer hostels you could stay in but if you want something cheap and cheerful this is your place.

Sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unserer Meinung nach; Gemeinschaftsbereich und Küche laden nicht zum Verweilen ein; zwei Badezimmer für zu viele Gäste in unserem Stockwerk; vieles eher heruntergekommen, z.B. gebrochener Toilettensitz, lose Wandhalterung für Handtücher im Bad, miefender Kühlschrank auf dem Flur, fleckiges Spannbetttuch,..; im Schlafsaal auch keine praktische Ausstattung, kein eigenes Licht am Bett, keine kleine Ablage am Bett, Klimaanlage so dreckig, dass nicht ...

Not a real kitchen, no stove or oven. Otherwise really good!

muy bien lugar al igual que muy sencillo, lo único sería donde guardar maletas grandes de 20kg, si son maletas chicas o mochilas, no hay problema 👌

Great hostel and lovely staff. Location is incredibly convenient for an early train or for just seeing Florence as a whole. Near some unbelievable food spots. Very clean bathrooms The only lost stars are down to the air conditioning being a nightmare. Whilst it is technically switched on, it was a nightmare to sleep in. One of the other guests said to sleep with an ice pack which made the experience much better. The staff tried, but there was little they could do.

The last few reviews mentioned bed bugs, which is weird as there were no problems for me. Maybe the people that said that were dirty people that brought it themselves. I stayed 2 nights and would stay there again. The location was prime and the staff was nice

They have a bedbug infestation. Four nights at the hostel = more than 70 bedbug bites. Not recommended—unless you don’t mind being eaten alive by bedbugs.

Two words: BED BUGS!!!! If you want to get eaten alive stay at this hostel. Reception guy kept lying to me telling me it's mosquitoes and that it's normal then when we finally discovered that it was actually bed bugs they changed our rooms only to find it's even worse in the other room. The whole hostel is infested and needs to be closed down. When I asked for a refund, the morning receptionist had the audacity to tell me 'since you know it's bed bugs why did you stay?' When they obviously lied ...

Great place, walked from train station to the hostel. Also walked from the hostel to bars and museums.

the front door was not lockable, the door entering to the hostel was accessible with a code which I don't think is being changed. The room had no AC (to be fair, it was not advertised and we did not pay for that) we did have fans set up on the nightstands. there was almost no staff present and the bathroom had a slight bit of mold. also not ideal was that the bathrooms had windows, some of which were completely see through and enabled people opposite the courtyard to peek into the bathroom.

Few small lockers only. Good location. Sometimes had to wait for the toilet. I know I booked a mixed dorm but I wasn't comfortable being the only female in with 3 men.
