Astor Museum Inn

Great location and AMAZING staff!! The staff were super nice and gave us so many good recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The hostel rooms were extremely small and bathrooms and space in the bathrooms was very limited. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet, safe place to stay in a great area, on a tight budget, then Astor Museum Inn is the place to stay!

Nous étions dans un bâtiment à 2 minutes à pieds du bâtiment principal, sans eau potable, ni cuisine. Les douches ne sont pas très pratiques et il y a de la moisissure au plafond. Les toilettes sont très petites. Humidité dans les chambres.

I LOVED AITOR!!! I was in this hostel for as minimal time as possible - not to do with the hostel but just needed a place to crash after the Eurostar before catching my next train in the morning. Because my time there was so short I didn’t explore the hostel or take part in any activities but Aitor checked me in and he would hands down make me consider staying here again if I need a place in London!

Great first experience in a hostel! The location is fabulous and walking distance from most places. The room was a little small for 6 people but unless multiple people were packing/unpacking at the same time it was never an issue. Staff were welcoming and kind, and I would definitely stay again!

It was a pleasure to stay at Astor Museum. The staff is friendly, the location is perfect in the middle of London, with two tube stations a few steps away and the rooms súper clean. Shootout to the events group and the night receptionist, he helped me a lot during my stay.

Great location and very helpful staff. Bunk beds are well loved but clean.

Walls are super thin and you will hear everybody and everything. When somebody closes any door of that building your bed will shake because there is no way of closing these doors quietly. The nights I stayed there I could fall asleep at about 3am. If you plan on partying and not trying to sleep this hostel might be a fine choice. After two nights I moved to a hotel…Staff though is super friendly and helpful. I messed up with my booking and they helped me out!

I had a great time during my stay and met a lot of cool people.

A clean hostel very centrally located. There is a kitchen and lounge. There is a £3.50 breakfast of fruit juice, bread, jam. Cereals. Free tea and coffee. The people next door were quite noisy on the first night. Perhaps walls thin. Shower rooms / toilets were clean. Nice to have the British Museum almost on the fore step

Though the location for the hostel couldn’t be beat, the facilities were beyond bad. First off, they put you in an unattended building where the front door does not lock and then you want up 4 flights of creeky stairs to a smelly room with no air and a sink with a sign that reads “not safe for drinking”. The bathroom they describe online is always clogged and not every floor has a bathroom. They either have a clogged toilet and an unusable sink or a shower room where there’s no curtain.

Overall it was a fantastic stay! It's close to several tube stations, the staff are super lovely and helpful, the luggage storage is secure and the hostel is clean. I only had two 'issues' with it, it'd be great if there were curtains as they're mixed dorms. It's not difficult to hang up a curtain but there were a couple of nights I was the only woman and I would've been more comfortable. Also the kitchen doesn't reopen until 8 which is fine? 7 might be better though? Overall super recomme...

Tutto sommato è ok, il prezzo per la posizione è ottimo, però ci sono davvero pochi bagni. 1 wc e 2 docce per 3 camere da 4, quindi 12 persone….

Staff was nice and welcoming but the room I was in was more a prison cell than a bedroom… I was in a room in the basement, air was coming from the close window. Bed and pillow very uncomfortable. Downstairs bathroom was neither clean or good … All in all, location and staff are nice but it’s one of the worst hostel I visited …

Amazing hostel. Location is superb and the staff are so friendly and welcoming!!!!!!!! Love it here, definitely recommend. Also shoutout to staff member Jessica who went above and beyond!

Personal dort ist sehr freundlich, aber ansonsten ist es eben ein Großstadt-Hostel mit wenig Charme. Alles sehr eng, die Wände hellhörig, nachts kein Auge zugetan. Für den recht hohen Preis bekommt man nur ein hartes Bett. Die Lage ist empfehlenswert.

I had a great stay, super nice staff, clean rooms and bathrooms. Super clean kitchen well equiped. All in all really good
