0 stars. No sleep because of bed bugs. 6 of us were scratching with huge marks the day after. My partner and I did not sleep the whole night because of those bed bugs and we were still itching in the morning. No one is doing anything about it. The location is not great, in the middle of council estates, not safe at all. Everything is dirty, the bed are poorly made, no padlocks. Worst experience ever. It's honestly just meh. The first room I was put in had bed bugs so they moved to another room upstairs and the second one was sooooo small could barely pass another person. Not very clean, moldy, small fridge for food storage, no laundry. I wouldn't stay there again but it did the job.

I chose this hostel for the location & the price of course. But you get what you pay for. No frills about it. I also got bed bugs and am covered in bites. The staff was extremely kind and compassionate but overall the place is a bit grimy. The bites makes me feel like I stayed in a homeless shelter.

The place had bedbugs and we were not treated accordingly when requesting a refund. Until this day I still have not received a refund and the owner does not respond to texts/emails. I regret spending money on this place, we had to book another hotel and this was during the Taylor Swift concerts, which resulted in having to spend twice as much money. It is understandable that bedbugs are a hassle to deal with, but if you promise you’ll provide a refund, follow up on it. Do. Not. Book. Here!

Sadly I cannot recommend this hostel. The room was very cramped, the walls were dirty with random stains. We found bed bugs. The manager says he is working on this, but with all the reviews it seems like a recurring problem. He also kicked out a random person from the common area by shouting and got really angry instead of deescalating. No hostel atmosphere, the bar is occupied by older local men. Only one bathroom unless you go all the way down to the public bar

The worst experience that I ever had, the room was full of bed bugs and I only discovered that when I came back home as all the itchy big red pimples started to appear everywhere in my body. I would never recommend this hostel, be careful!!!

OWNER, rating it's -10 It should be called "QUEEN BEDBUGS" When I complained, they were surprised as they never had any BEDBUGS complaints, BIGGEST CYNICISM. They do this with everyone. They moved guests to a bedbug-free room and they founded bedbugs. In the hostel it’s BEDBUGS everywhere. The manager yelling and harassing a volunteers. Who puts an aggressive man in a responsibility position? The manager is only available the first few hours of his shift because the rest of the shift his drunk

bed bug bites and video evidence- I was moved in to a different room by the owner- he and I quote “this has never happened before” (5 minutes later the same guy says ((like I’m an idiot that didn’t hear him b4))) “yes 2 other girls complained about this” same thing happens- I wait all Sunday to get my money back, finally at 4 he says he only give me €10 and I paid €17 each night- I say ok and spit on the sidewalk as I leave- he chase/threatened/ me two times- I come in peace- but there was none

We found bed bugs the last night of our stay unfortunately, they moved our room but we found bed bugs there as well. Also not enough toilets for everyone, otherwise fine.

Building old. Floors creaked a lot. Only 2 toilets but can use the pubs toilets. Loud customers but expected from the pub. Breakfast options are cereal and toast. Some of the staff would walk right into rooms without knocking (very inappropriate especially in an all women’s room). Found bed bugs, got moved to another bed then found more. I don’t think they thoroughly checked everything so I left after the second instance.

Overall we didn’t feel safe here, the room we were staying in only had a glass door that wasn’t locked that led right to the alley behind the pub. There was only one close toilet and you had to walk outside to get to it. And to top it all off we got many bed bug bites. Would not stay here again.

Friendly staff. Most guests friendly. Unfortunately I got bedbug bites whilst staying at this hostel. First member of staff told me it was not bedbugs, 2nd member of staff said they’d make a note of it on the system. Apparently they steam the rooms weekly on Tuesdays - either this hasn’t been done, OR it isn’t effective. I was extremely cautious going home to not take my luggage indoors without it being treated for bedbugs first. It has caused me a lot of distress and it is very itchy.

Bed bug infestation. Staff is nice, and they work hard, but they're in a difficult spot with the infestation and they've gotten to the point where they just ignore it. Would've been a fine stay if not for the bed bugs. I'm pissed that I paid $24/night just to sleep 4 hrs a night because you can feel them crawling all over you. I stayed 6 nights and my body is completely covered in bites. It was so bad I almost left 2 days early to go sleep in the airport.

BED BUGS!! I even asked the manager do they have bedbugs. He replied, it depends on what room you are in. I explain to him that I have been itching and at first I thought it was a mosquito, but I have several bumps on my arm he tried to give me food for free. I told him I want a refund!! he also made me get up for his regular customers while I was waiting in the lobby to leave. Wi-Fi does not work upstairs!! I'll start with the bad here: * Late check in times, you have people coming in constantly at 1am-3am checking which is ludicrous. *The lockers are broken and not enough for the amount of people around so luggage is left out unless you want to put it in storage. *Walk with locks they upcharge for those, walk with your own towels as well. Good: Staff Downstairs bathroom is amazing. Distance to underground. Bar (went once) No bedbugs as someone said before. Value for money (it's not 5 stars)

This place has a serious bed bugs issue that needs dealing with. It is not acceptable regardless of the reduced price per night. Security was not great, only 4 lockers for 6-bed and 2 of which were broken. We had a guy removed from our dorm, he still knew the door code and continued to enter without our consent (mostly due to drunk behaviour). Location was convenient and the staff were friendly. Bathrooms were clean and spacious but only one toilet per floor? Might be ok for an overnighter.

The property was disgusting,old and dilapidated. The cleanliness is non existent. The beds all have bed bugs. The minute I got into the bed i started to itch. Environmental Health need to visit and shut this horror hostel down.

It was the cheapest hostel in a prime location, so you get what you paid for. They did well in keeping the place clean, but I think the facilities were limited. The rooms were tiny and I think the bed had bedbugs or something that bites. The worst of all is the internet. It says there is internet but in reality, it didn't work. As travelers its important to have good internet, or it's not really worth the stay.

Honestly, I felt welcomed when we (My 2 friends and I) arrived. It took about 30min to rectify a booking mistake for one of my friends, but they offered us some free food they were cooking and some water or tea while we waited. They fixed the booking to pair us all in the same room which was great except when we finally went to bed one of our beds had a bed bug infestation. My friend did not enjoy her night as she rushed to get bed bugs off of her and her things. When talking to the staff she came to the agreement she would just share the bed with my other friend for the night, but when she asked for a new bed sheet they were unable to provide this. Needless to say our 4night planned stay at this hostel transformed into a one night stay. The next day I returned to get my bag that I left in the room, and noticed a new resident in the same bed bug infested bed that my friend was in earlier (the night before). They were informed about a problem and did nothing to help, and instead allowed other travelers into this unideal travel experience.

This is by far the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. The room was very dirty and I got a skin rash, probably bedbugs, that I am recovering from just now. I understand that you get what you paid, but this inconveniences are completely intolerable. Avoid this place!

Bedbugs. I woke up at 3AM to find I was being bitten by multiple bedbugs, turning on the light I could see that there were even bedbugs climbing up the walls. I rarely leave negative reviews - but when it's a health issue like this in think it's important. Speaking to an old man who lived there, in a different room, he also had bites on his hand - implying that the infestation is ongoing and in multiple rooms. I will not stay here again.
