Ostello Olimpico Vicenza

I loved staying here. the receptionist was friendly, my room was clean and quiet and the bathroom was great. I appreciated the use of a fridge and microwave, plus drinks. I really enjoyed wandering around Vicenza and would highly recommend it

Multiple things stolen

This hostel was not worth the money. My partner and I stayed there for three days and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned once. There is no kitchen, only a microwave and fridge. They advertise they have AC but it was not on or not working…and they knew it. So they give you a little fan for a room with six people. The only saving grace to this place is the location. But I would not recommend

A you get what you pay hostel. Cheap but a bit old fashioned. Good location. When making a reservation you should note the opening times of the reception. There's no one there in the morning till 13h. You can't check in, but this also means that when you leave your luggage in the luggage storage you're stuck till that time. The response "this is a hostel, not a hotel" to the issue that I've would have to wait for 2 hours for my luggage was not really helpful. It should be able to solve this.

Did the trick! Great for a quick stay, nice breakfast. Not a very social place, but no real complaints.

Points positifs : Le petit dej copieux est inclus ! Le réceptionniste était très sympa et m'a donné bcp de conseils sur la ville. Sanitaires modernes et assez propres. Point négatif : Pas de salle commune ni de cuisine, donc atmosphère un peu austère.

Solides Hostel in guter Lage. Das Bett ist für große Menschen nicht wirklich geeignet, aber für eine Nacht war es in Ordnung.

Didn’t sleep so well. The roommate checked in and came back toooo late, and made a lot of noise when sleeping. The staff and the breakfast were great.

Une auberge très conviviale pour une superbe ville où il y a plein de beaux lieux à visiter ! Tout était très propre, l'accueil a été très amical, le petit déjeuner était somptueux (du sucré, du salé, du thé, du café... vraiment super), serviettes de bain incluses et les lits sont très confortables. Une expérience formidable pour nous qui ne connaissions pas du tout la ville. Je recommande à 100% !

The staff was nice. The price was great. Location is amazing. They provide you a towels and breakfast. But the off points were pretty bad. A simple thing is that the bathrooms have no hand soap. Which quickly gets annoying and gross. The beds are wood, and are loud and rock quite a bit with any movement. All of this I feel like would be more forgivable but I’ve only noticed after I left that many people had the same comments. The vibes are terrible. The environment is antisocial. No et...

Overall it was a descent staying for 1 night! Unexpectedly they provide you with towel/bedding shits/soap&shampoo... Even quite old facilities, very well located and breakfast is offered (unfortunately didn't try it but seemed quite nice to be honest - european style but with local italian delights!!!)... Just the shared bathroom wasn't clean often, so after the showers, all the water was remaining on the floor that was making it a bit inconvenient/dirt to use the toilet afterwards...

Good low cost hostel for a night but wouldn't be my first choice for a longer stay. Staff were very friendly and nice to have breakfast included but there is very little privacy in the rooms. Needs to offer female only rooms as we were in with three middle aged men which felt intimidating with so little privacy. Curtains round the bed would be nice. Good location and lockers though.

Perfect spot for one night when you are going through Vincenza. There isn't anywhere to cook other than a microwave and they don't have a fridge. Communal areas aren't the most inviting but are fine enough. Beds were clean and showers were good. I don't think I'd want to spend multiple nights here or come here to meet others but only because it didn't have that sort of fun and inviting atmosphere not because it was in any way problematic. Nice big locker to keep your stuff is good

Nice place

Friendly staff and good location. There's no kitchen, only a kettle,a microwave and some cutlery. My 6 bed dorm was very small with beds close to each other. Hardly any space between them, big lockers though. My matrass was way too old and soft and should be replaced. Towel provided. Breakfast is included, quality as expected for a hostel: not great but edible. Cold and impersonal common area and general atmosphere.

I had a great stay at this hostel. The location is amazing, the staff v friendly and there is even a breakfast included. There is also a nice terrace. :) Can be a bit tricky to socialise but I still managed to meet people in the hall.

My phone was stolen in my room while I was sleeping. Reception working only 13-21 if you need any assistance, good luck. No soup bottle in the bathroom and nothing to dry a hands. Bed mattress is very thin and uncomfortable, when you lay down you sink in the midle. Compare with previous two hostels where I stay this is the worst.
