Very nice hostel and friendly staff!!
Hostel is okay, not super social and not a surf vibe as I hoped it would be. It is a far walk to the surf beaches. The airconditioning in the dorms barely works and you are sweating in your bed. After asking to turn the aircon on earlier in the day so it’s cooler around 10pm, it helps a Little bit but still it’s too hot to sleep in. I wanted to cancel my last nights because of the airconditioning that doesn’t work well and therefore not sleeping, but it was not approved.
Situé en haut de la rue principale, proche de toutes commodités, l’ambiance générale était bonnes, le dortoir confortable et bien équipé ! Le petit déjeuner vous est servi à table, la piscine pour se rafraîchir : que demander de plus !
Great hostel, but definitely not the best for the price. The dorms don’t have AC and the towels is not included Staff was really friendly and chill area are great also
This hostel was very nice. + points: the pool is amazing since it gets so hot. close to certains cafés, snorkeling meet up points. Beds are very confortables. Little store just beside it so very convenient !! - points: a bit far from the main beach (a nice 20-25 min walk), no AC during the day and Even stays a bit hot at night.
Sehr schönes Hostel mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Gut ausgestattete Küche und sehr bequeme Betten :)
- Rooms are okay but during my stay the water at the sink was not working. - Breakfast is from 7am. Mostly the stuff just arrives by then and slowly prepares food. For ppl who want to do a day tour/ diving or need to take the morning shuttle it is stressful or no time to have breakfast.
I booked the private room and I really recommend it. Cheaper than private rooms in other hostels around and you have your own bathroom and the room was big. Nice breakfast, lots of space to hang out. Only stayed one night so didnt participate in so many things.
Lovely hostel in a good location, with friendly staff and it was really nice to have a pool. A few things to note: - the bathrooms smelt pretty badly and the smell would travel into the dorms as soon as the door opened. - we were told breakfast is served from 7am, so when we had a shuttle booked for 7.40 we thought this would be fine, but weren’t able to get any breakfast until 7.30 so it was a bit of a rush - the staff weren’t very present
Nice hostel in town of Santa Catalina to sleep for a few nights, the dorms were good! However, the pool looks not as nice in real life than on the pictures. In general it‘s a simple hostel without any breathtaking amenities. There are other hostels for the same price
manque un peu de propreté dans les espaces communs et les chambres. Nous avons aussi envoyé des courriels pour avoir des informations avant notre arrivée sans réponse. Tout de même un bon rapport qualité-prix malgré tout
Goede locatie, schoon, lekker bed.
Was great, but the water ran out two times + the AC in the night was so cold we almost froze our asses off
Die Unterkunft hat eine sehr gute Lage und ist auch sehr sauber. Allerdings war der Mann von der Rezeption äußerst unmotiviert und nicht sonderlich kompetent.
Honestly disappointed by this hostel! The dorms are boiling, they only turn the air-con on from 9pm so the room doesn’t really cool down! We stayed over new years and there was absolutely no atmosphere and the staff spent most of the time sat around on their phones bored. However, the free breakfast was nice and the location was good but I wouldn’t stay here again.
Can’t really say anything good about the place because they cancelled my reservation twice and offered a hammock for 10 usd a night since everything else was already booked in the city. Customer service 0, can’t recommend.
Room smelled really bad, no ac till 9pm and they leave it on till 9am. Private rooms looked okay though
can't unrecommend this hostel enaugh. the room was dirty, the showers in the room were even worse with a weird smell in them at all times. the volunteers working there were nice but really unhelpful - my swimsuit was stolen when i put it to dry and they didn't even tried to look for them. also at one night there wasn't any electricity and it was unberably hot and no one was there the whole night to try to fix it so only in the morning it was fixed.
The Good: - Great kitchen to cook in and we have food allergies so they let us make our own eggs for breakfast. - Open covered areas to shelter from the sun or rain but the furniture could use an upgrade and more than one hammock. - We had a large room with our own bathroom (don’t expect warm or hot water) and we could have used something to hang our wet clothes on. The bad: - Some people were friendly while others totally ignored us and people didn’t hang out at night at the hostel.
hostel is a nice location, pool is nice and the roof top patio is nice. staff and volunteers did nothing to cultivate a social atmosphere. the location is far from both beaches. the breakfast portions are sad. the kitchen is very nice for cooking your own meals. I would not return .
