La Quinta Bacana Hostal

The hostel is fine but I have leant Barranquilla is just not the place to stay. I was told to pay cash on arrival which was not clear online. Wasn’t shown any facilities. The water stopped coming out the tap for a good hour or two. Bed has no sheet or blanket, just a pillow. Shower has no head just a spout in the wall.

gut für einen kurzen Zeischenstopp weil günstig aber weder freundliche Atmosphäre noch Möglichkeit Wertsachen einzuschließen oder Schränke, in denen man seine Sachen lagern kann - das wär noch sehr gut zu haben :)

Good Location. Staff was very friendly, No AC but honestly didn't need it. Fans did a great job. Clean and cute atmosphere

Da es in Barranquilla nicht viele Touristen gibt, ist das Hostel für die meisten nur ein Zwischenstopp. Das Hostel fühlt sich eher so an, als würde man bei einer Familie zu Hause übernachten und ein Bett bekommen. Das Personal ist nett, hat aber kein großes Interesse an Kontakt mit den Gästen. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und eher schmutzig, aber für ein oder zwei Nächte völlig okay.

Prima in orde maar heel erg warm in de kamers en er was vooral geen sfeer in het hostel. Ook de gemeenschappelijke ruimte was niet erg uitnodigend.

Has everything you need and in a great location. Host was very nice and was happy to help with any inquiries. Would recommend if you are in Barranquilla for a short stay.

Llegue al hostal y mi habitacion no tenia a/c aunque habia reservado una con a/c. Habia otra habitacion compartida de 4 camas ( como la mia) con a/c pero no me permitieron alojarme allà. Porque tocaria encender el a/c solo para mi ( no habia mas reservas). Decidí no alojarme allà y dijeron me devolverian el dinero de la reserva, ya que no cumplian las condiciones por las que reservé pero nunca recibí mi dinero de vuelta. El sitio era extremadamente caluroso y el ambiente algo raruno.

Pas terrible je ne recommande pas, j'ai acheté une bonne bouteille d'eau que j'avais mise dans le frigo et elle a été prise par les gens qui tiennent l'auberge, je leur ai dit la fille m'a regardé un souriant l'air de dire oh mince et ne s'est pas excusé.

Small cute hostel, but the fans are so noisy it’s IMPOSSIBLE to sleep… and if we don’t use them it is really too hot. The kitchen is really small too. But for one night it was okay 👌🏼

Déçus, nous avons écourté notre séjour. Pas de réglementation sur le vivre ensemble : nous avons été réveillés à 1h du matin par quelqu'un qui a allumé la télé et a cuisiné. À 5h, le ménage est fait avec la musique en haut parleur, alors que c'est petit et que tout résonne. Problème de propreté et d'espace dans la cuisine. Pas de place réelle pour manger. Heureusement nous avons été remboursés pour les nuits non réalisées, équipe compréhensive.

Segunda vez que visito este hostal y después de varios años me sigue encantando, te hacen sentir como en casa, volvería sin dudarlo.

Overall good for 1 or 2 nights traveling through Barranquilla. The outdoor seating area is nice.

Lovely atmosphere, clean bed and a nice kitchen. The owner was so nice and always helped me and answered every question i have got about barranquilla. This place felt more of being at home than being at a hostel!
