Paraty Hostel - Casa do Rio

L'auberge est très bien : joliement décorée, bien située, et bien équipée. Le petit déjeuner est bien avec du choix, même si il est servi un peu tard (8h-10h). En revanche, notre chambre double était vraiment petite, et sans rangement : il était difficile de circuler avec nos affaires. La climatisation était très bruyante, on ne pouvait pas dormir avec.

Good hostel but no locks on dorm doors/ lockers to protect valuables

la casa es hermosa, muy pintoresca y de estilo colonial, muy linda decoración.lo único que en un momento se llovió todo y se inundó la habitación y se me mojo toda la mochila..Pero me ofrecieron ayuda al instante. fueron muy serviciales.

The rooms are absolutely tiny, couldn’t even open the door half way as it’s stopped by the bed. The towels were all stained and marked and when we asked for new ones as these were dirty they said they’re not dirty they’re just stains. (I would say that means they are not fully clean). There were kids of the staff I’m guessing int he common area during the day, which is fine ofcourse, however they played very annoying kids music and YouTube videos on the tv right outside the rooms.

Really cute hostel and great breakfast spread, best I’ve had so far. I loved the hostel cause of the decor and location, right next to the little river. However, it does loose point on the social aspect which does not exist whatsoever. If you’re with a friend or want a little alone getaway it’s perfect but don’t expect to meet people here

Hostel bien situé dans le centre, personnel disponible et gentil. Nous avons loué une chambre privée pour deux et pour le prix j'étais un peu déçue : ménage sommaire, à peine la place d'ouvrir nos sacs, lunette des toilettes défectueuse... Mais dans l'ensemble l'expérience était positive, juste je trouve que le prix était peu rentable.

Wir sind für zwei Nächte in dem 3er Dorm geblieben, weil alles andere ausgebucht war. Die Atmosphäre in dem Hostel war sehr schön, es liegt direkt am Wasser, die Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten waren sehr cozy. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr klein. Es gab kaum Raum irgendwo seine Sachen abzulegen, bzw. zu verstauen. Dafür war das Zimmer leider auch sehr teuer.

Super séjour, équipe souriante et aidante, très propre, safe et parfaitement situé ! Mention spéciale pour la piscine :)

Very good experience overall and great value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. However shared room and bathroom were quite small, and the bathroom was often wet after showers. Still a good stay for the price

Good place overall but the atmosphere was absent during our stay and the outdoor kitchen was way too small for the amount of people in the hostel, lacking utensils aswell, the bed sheet was also way too old, resulting in withdrawing from the bed the whole night

So so good! Very nice and helpful staff! The areas were clean and the room we stayed in felt like a hotel room:) the breakfast was really tasty as well!

Fantastic place in the heart of Paraty. Great value for money with breakfast included, towels and linens. Gives it more of a hotel vibe than a hostel. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Secure and clean and well suited for families. This however also means that younger solo travellers looking for a party atmosphere should look elsewhere. If you come for a beautiful place in a calm environment and good location look no further.

Hostel com um ambiente acolhedor, familiar e organizado, com boas instalações — simples, mas confortável. Fiquei no quarto feminino para 4 pessoas, que é espaçoso e fica no terraço, em uma área mais privativa, o que nos proporcionou maior privacidade. Os banheiros, separados para homens e mulheres, são ótimos. O café da manhã é muito bom. Eu e minha amiga gostamos muito da estadia.

Très bonne expérience dans cette auberge. Le personnel était d'une grande gentillesse et m'a donné beaucoup de recommandations pour profiter au maximum de mon séjour à Paraty. L'excursion en bateau réservée aux résidents de l'auberge était également une très bonne expérience.

The rooms are tiny and expensive. They have the olds style box air conditioning units which are really expensive. I had paid for four nights. I asked to leave after one night because I knew it would hard to sleep there. I was told send an e mail and will discuss a refund for the three nights toy didnt use. No reply to two e mails. I sent many messages to the whatsapp. told need to dicuss with the manager. he didnt reply. no refund. DO NOT STAY HERE
