As a solo female traveller, I could not have picked a better place to stay in Chisinau. Clean, friendly, safe, comfortable environment. Reubens, the owner, cares deeply about your experience at his hostel. His tours are in equal parts safe and good value for money. His map of local places to eat / explore was also very good. I met some really amazing people while here in Moldova, and Chisinau is an extraordinary city for extraordinary travellers... Recommend Kira's for a night club!

Had a great stay here the hostel was full of great people and a lovely kitchen and patio to meet travelers everyone was open and nice. Beds are comfy with great privacy curtains and fans so you have privacy and comfort. The tours were also great.

Ovaj hostel je bio izvanredan! Od gazda, do ostalih gostiju, do lokacije i do radnika :) Sobe se ne zakljucavaju ali ima lokera tako da je bezbedno. Gazda je bio super i znao je sve o gradu, mozete ga pitati za sve. Veoma topla atmosfera u hostelu i lep prostor. Sigurno bih se vratila !!

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Europe. Towel and slippers included, great kitchen with everything you might need and bathrooms were spotless. The staff was great and Ruben even helped us organise self guided tour to Transnistria since his tour wasn’t running due to Easter. A great stay!

pros: very nice and modern facilities (beds with curtains, sockets and shelves, bathrooms looked brand new), good location in nice neighborhood, cozy decorations. the owner is super nice and outgoing. cons: being cash-only in a small country where 9 out of 10 backpackers won't have the currency on-hand is super annoying.it becomes a bigger issue when you don't have a record of payment and getting a receipt is somehow complicated (I watched this play out with two guys who needed proof of their s...

Extremely friendly and helpful staff especially the owner make sure you do his trip to Transnistria it is much cheaper and longer than the ones you will find online the atmosphere is amazing made lots of friends in only 2 nights also great decorations and location between the lake and centre there is a sheet also that recommends everything to do, eat see etc in the city.

Great hostel with a very social atmosphere. Perfectly clean facilities, good quality beds perfect for resting, lockers available. The only downside is they do not accept payment by card.

The owner Rubens is a kind guy who helps you with everything. Rest of the staff as well. They‘re working with Anna - she offers free walking tours around the city. Was my highlight of my stay. Also the showers are really clean. The only thing I didn‘t like as much was that the rooms only have one small window that barely let‘s air into the dorm. But can‘t have it all. Thanks for having me.

One of my favorite hostels I’ve stayed in. Lots of solo travellers and super easy to meet people. The location is great, hostel is very clean and comfortable and the owner goes out of his way to help you before and during your stay. I did their Transnistria tour and definitely recommend it (coming from someone who rarely does group excursions, it was worth it this time)!

They were amazing! I always get sceptical about staying at hostels when I travel to cities that doesn't get tons of tourists, for safety reasons. But the hostel is incredible safe and nice, they give you lockers, it was also very clean. Girls at the reception were really helpful and nice also, I had a very early return flight and I had a taxi crisis but thanks to the girl in the reception which I don't know the name of, I've managed to catch my flight. Overall, great experience.

One of the best hostels I have stayed at. Very clean, super helpful and friendly receptionists and owner! Would 100% stay here again!
