Chukirawa Hostal

I stayed in a dorm. The dorm is very dark with the door directly into the restaurant. So you could smell the food in the bedroom too. Also someone from the restaurant could just walk into your room. The common area is ok. The plus is the breakfast, which was nicely arranged.

The hostel was very cold, however there was a fireplace in the room that was lit late in the evening (if you ask). David was a sweetheart. But the rest of the staff seemed very disinterested to have guests staying there, despite it being family owned. Nonetheless, an exceptional location by the lake.

It’s a nice property with a large shared dorm. The room has a fireplace that keeps it cozy at night, but it doesn’t turn on until after 6 pm, so it can feel quite cold before then. The shared dorm bathroom could use some improvements. The on-site restaurant looked great, though it closed at 7 pm, which seemed a bit early. The staff were very friendly and happy to help.

Rooms are a bit cold, you'd better ask them to light the wood burner.

Great place that's really well placed. The staff were nice enough and the food was great. But the mold on the ceiling if my shower was CRAZY, it was gross to say the least. The rest of the room was great and the firewood stove in room really made it cozy at the end of a long day.

Great location, food at reasonable prices, seems popular with locals and tourists from abroad, rooms are big enough and cosy.
