My 10 is all for the staff that works in this hostel. Elisabetth is a wonderfull person. Thank you Elisabetth
Very clean, the food was delicious and the staff very nice
A nice hostel located on a hill a few steps to Juanchaco muelle. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. When the tide is high, someone will make you cross the water by boat and when the tide is low you can cross by foot (walk in the water) which can be fun for a short stay but not the most convenient. Great view all around the hotel with swings/benches as "contemplation spots". Staff is nice but not smiley. When tide is low, nice beach at the bottom of the hill. Not much to do around.
C’était parfait, l’hôtel est très agréable, très tranquille, superbe vue, proche du port, le rêve
The view is amazing, there are four Peacocks roaming around you can feed plus other indigenous animals. We got the premium suite with Jacuzzi, but as of april 2023 there is no hot water and it takes about an hour plus for the tub to fill up, so I would recommend skipping that and just saving some money by getting any other room. Staff is very kind, and attentive. AC works great. There is a secret natural pool -minute 8:20- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfTl_Yf8iG8
The hostel is okay but the way to get there can be annoying. The breakfast of leidy and the other cooking lady was amazing and they fulfilled all our wishes! And on top they where really friendly. Also one worker there, John was super nice and helped us a lot. The room was always clean and we felt comfortable there.
Best option for staying close to Juanchaco in a hotel with more modern amenities than at backpacker hostels. Stayed alone in 6 bed dorm for 3 wk nights. View from room, sit on patio or swing. Bathroom cold shower, toilet pressure low for flush #2. Wifi great day 1 but not day 2/3. Used my Claro sim. Needs locker to store valuables . Cross canal to access at low tide or call for courtesy boat. AC bonus. Food tasty and filling. Great staff. Walk to Ladrilleros o Pacifico to swim. Most stay there
This place is great value for money, located in a beautiful spot with A.C. (hard to find), and easy to work with. It's close to the port but requires crossing a river and a flight of stairs that can be difficult depending on the tides. The receptionist is exceptional, and the cooking staff is mostly excellent, though there was one rude incident. Overall, highly recommended. Having been to the Pacific many times, I can say this is the most organized company in a chaotic environment.
