Pacifico Hostel - Juan de Dios

One very good volunteer host there the week I went. Nice to have a quiet beach. Cabin design allows one loud person to be heard in all rooms. Too much late night cellphone use going on weekends. Weeknights and days are sublime.

Me voy un poco desilusionada de este hostal. El lugar es seguro y tiene una buena ubicación, pero la atención de los voluntarios no fue la mejor, a excepción de la chica del bar, quien siempre fue muy amable. La oferta de alimentos y bebidas es limitada, lo que deja espacio para mejorar la experiencia. En cuanto a los baños secos, no estaban bien organizados, ya que los dejaban llenarse demasiado, generando incomodidad y una posible carga microbiana elevada.

El sitio es hermoso, la atención muy buena, la comida es rica, buenos precios, los cuartos muy limpios y la ropa de cama limpia y con buen olor, solo me costó adaptarme al baño seco, pero volvería sin dudarlo! Muchas gracias.⭐️

El lugar tiene un entorno natural bonito y la propuesta ecológica es interesante, pero la experiencia fue decepcionante. La comida estuvo bien y el personal de cocina fue amable. Sabíamos que era un hostal ecológico, pero ecología no es sinónimo de abandono: los baños estaban sucios, con papel higiénico usado acumulado, y solo daban papel si uno lo pedía. You can’t deny the place is a paradise, beautiful location and great beach however lack more attention. The beach was dirty in some areas and I think it would be nice to have garbages or something to collect waste or even encourage visitors to help clean the beach. No toilet paper in any bathroom unless you ask. I wanted to drink water but no cups to use. The volunteers weren’t as helpful as I wish they were and some of them just wanted to party and smoke

Wir haben drei Nächte in dem Hostel verbracht und uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Der private Strand ist wirklich wunderschön – ruhig und fast menschenleer. Auch das Essen war lecker und die Preise waren fair. Besonders gut haben mir die Patacones geschmeckt. Das Hostel liegt etwas abgelegen, dafür hat man viel Ruhe, ist mitten in der Natur und kann direkt vor Ort verschiedene Touren buchen. Gerade wer abschalten möchte, ist hier genau richtig.

Me encantó el lugar, es como estar en un paraíso escondido, la playa es siempre hermosa, no tuve ningún inconveniente con las instalaciones, sin embargo, puede q no sea para todos los gustos, estar aquí es conectarse con una versión más natural de ti mismo.

The location is pretty nice, the hostel has its own beautiful beach, and behind the hostel is the jungle. So if you want the full nature experience, that’s you’re place. The hostel offers meals. But the prices per meal are around 40.000 $ per plate and the portions are very very small. Also, the breakfast is not included. Une superbe expérience, un dépaysement total et une immersion dans la nature du Pacifique! Si nous avions pu, nous serions restés plus longtemps.

We had a relaxing time in time in Juan De Dios. The nature was gorgeous, we got to see beautiful sunsets and enjoyed the waterfall tour! While the kitchen staff were very kind and amazing, the rest of the staff were not the most friendly and, kind of bad vibes which was a shame. Especially the manager, he was a little rude, defensive and acted inconvenienced when normal basic inquiries were made by us.

Ich bin seit ungefähr 2 Monaten in Kolumbien und das Hostel war wahrscheinlich das schönste in dem ich bisher war. Das essen ist das beste was ich in Kolumbien hatte und das gesamte Personal ist sehr sehr nett. Die Lage vom Hostel ist direkt am Strand und gibt einem das Gefühl von einer einsamen Insel an der Karibik. Wenn ich nochmal nach Kolumbien fahre werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder kommen :)

If you want to relax for some days I can really recommend this hostel. It’s located at a really nice beach, the staff is very friendly and the dorms are nice. Just keep in mind that it’s in a really remote area and there’s no shops around and no kitchen, so you have to eat in the hostel which is not the cheapest but the food is very good. All in all we really enjoyed our stay there :)

El sitio hermoso, pero el hotel en pesimas condiciones, sucio, las cabañas retiradas, no hay iluminacion para llegar a ellas, total oscurridad, los baños son letrinas, la comida costosa y regular. Pensaba quedarme dos dias pero no aguante. No lo recomiendo

Los pies en el agua y la mente volando en la brisa ! Lugar espectacular y relajado, gente muy muy simpatica ! Comida rica.

Pacifico Hostel, sin duda fue una experiencia inolvidable. Amo el Pacífico y creo que no hay mejor lugar para conocerlo que este lugar, desde el momento en que llegamos, el ambiente era acogedor y el personal extremadamente amable. El lugar es hermoso y cálido La comida fue, sin duda, mi parte favorita. Excelente lugar Volveré
