Hostel Helvetia

Room is very small and not convenient design. The photos don’t look like reality. Good location but way too expensive for room size, Hygiene and facilities. Not recommended.

It's a good hostel for the price you pay. They were so welcoming and kind. The kitchen was really well equipped and the location was good enough, but if you take the central bus station you may need to climb many stairs. The only problem was that there is no hanger in their bathroom so you can't have your towel and clothes somewhere they don't get wet. I enjoyed my stay there and recommend it to those who want to explore the amazing city of Warsaw.

There is no hostel vibe in the place, there were only 2 toilets and 2 showers for each gender in the whole hostel so mornings were rushed. You have to make your own bed when you get there and you also need to strip the bed afterwards. System for entering the property is ridiculous - they have a code which is changed daily but after 12pm. If you go out in the morning, this means the code will have changed by the time you get back. And sometimes there is no staff to let you in.

Good value for money, decent location, ok breakfast options, friendly staff.

Staff was welcoming. Atmosphere could be better, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

The guests were kinda weird and inconsiderate but I guess thats not the hostels fault. The hostel is clean but not social

Easily the best hostel we (group of 6) have stayed in so far, stayed for two nights. The hostel was extremely clean, facilities were super clean, staff saved our ass a couple of times and were super friendly going above and beond for us even though the hostel wasn't very expensive. Kitchen was very well equipped and clean and the location was superb.

recommended. the staff is pretty rude though. And the bed must be renovated.

Unfortunately didn’t get spend a lot of time there but the fact that they were able to let me book last minute was life saving.

Everything was super perfect.....staff is very courteous and helpful. Breakfast is very good . Not far from central station and it's within walking distance to main attractions. The only thing I think they need to do is install a couple of shelves in the bathroom to put personal items and maybe some hooks in the bath room to hang towels

It's a good place for staying one or the other night. The Location is fine, still it is quite during the night. There is not much atmosphere, but okay if you know before. Matresses could defintely be harder.

I received a confirmation email to stay two nights. I arrived at 8.30pm in pouring rain, the young women at the reception told me they had over booked and I had to leave back out to the dark rain. She told me it was hostel web sites problem and she was not interested in helping me find a bed, just leave. I was so tired, wet and lost, she did not care. Horrible staff, refused to contact manager who may have helped me, the staff said, leave its hostel worlds problem. My work is heal...
