Pop Art Hostel

Good location pretty close to the falemgarden but sound for a guy I’d say probably a bit of a push for a solo female but that’s my point of view.

The guys running the hostel was really friends and hospitable, general decoration and hostel looks really chill and cool. Although the women’s bathroom definitely needed a deep clean and a bit of a touch up. Unless you are the only person using the bathroom I would think it would be difficult to find some privacy to get changed, unless you go into the toilet, as there is no curtain infront of the shower area.

Amazing stay – highly recommended! I had a fantastic time at this hostel! The atmosphere is super relaxed and welcoming – it’s the kind of place where you immediately feel at home. Alex, the owner, is incredibly cool and helpful. He creates a vibe that brings travelers together and makes the stay really special. Belgrade itself is a beautiful and fascinating city with so much to offer. Don’t make the mistake of just passing through – take a few days to explore!

although i have stayed at better hostels, i havent experiences the level of kindness and hospitality in most other places. alex is a gentleman and works extremely hard to make his guests experience satisfactory, he is making sure the place is always clean and the guests are happy,elena too, she works extremely hard too which makes this places really good. thank you guys!

Lovely place with welcoming people very nice and pleasant

I am unsure weather the hosts are misinformed or genuinely a little weird. Nevertheless there was a huge lack of privacy! Employees in and out of the rooms, no backpackers and some extremely disturbing guests. One guest told me he was going to ‘eliminate me’. I appreciate that the hostel cannot control their clientele but this is the type of people they attract. At one point I considered staying up all night to ensure I didn’t get murderd! Make no mistake, do not book.

Really enjoyed my stay here! The location is ideal, 5 mins from the bus station and 15 min walk to main attractions. Staff were so welcoming and helpful and the atmosphere was great. I will definitely stay again whenever I'm next in Belgrade

I would stay again. The staff is amazing so helpful and they made my stay and boosted my mood thank you Alex. Nothing to complain. The hostel has really a unique vibe so either you like it or not I loved it . Felt like in a telenovela in a positive way. I wish they would have a female dorm as well . Alex I will be back

It's a nice And social Hostel and the owner ist a cool guy. However, in the evening there was a small fight between the owner and a worker and they came into the room which was uncomfortable. The location is good and close to the bus station and the city centre.

The location is great, just across the bus station, you have a market just in the corner and it's good atmosphere, it's a small but comfy hostel

Alex is one of the best guy I have ever meet. He helped us a lot and recommend the best places for eating, traveling etc. He is not only manager of pop art, but also helpful, kind and happy guy. Highly recommended :)

Alex was super nice and welcoming, the ambience reflects the free spirit and love of art as well as music. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a more intimate setting, the guests were all pleasant company. Thank you Alex

This hostel made me feel like I was at home. We had a great time.We had a great time.

This is an awesome hostel! Alex and Aldin are great, and Rock the dog is so cool! The beds are clean and comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen are clean and we'll appointed and the location can't be beat. I think this hostel has more of a "family" feel than any hostel I have ever stayed in.

Beds are comfy and it's close to the bus station. However, the place smells disgusting. Like a mixture of wet dog, sweat and cheap perfume. Very dark, no social atmosphere. Not 24h reception. Had to wake up neighbors so that I didn't have to stay on the street. Host sleeps in the living room and 'accidentally' walked in right when I left the shower. Left the place before brushing teeth

Personnel didn't open the door when I rang the ball. Another hostel with the same front door opened the door. Otherwise helpful with tips to see in the city and to point towards free walking tour.

It was a good hostel experience. The staff was helpful and friendly. However, the bathrooms didn't meet our expectations. The showers didn't offer a lot of privacy and for some unknown reason, the staff didn't refil the toilet paper frequently enough (there was only max. one roll at a time lol).

The hostel is in a great location, comfortable beds, great shower and Rocco the dog is the best roommate. The best part about this hostel though is the owner Alex and the atmosphere that he creates. It's a small hostel and everyone hangs out and gets to know each other in the kitchen area/common space over some drinks and good conversation. The vibes here are great! Shoutout to staff member Aldin as well. Alex and Aldin gave great tips of where to go in Belgrade and they are just warm, good ppl!
