I checked in and a guy was working on the room&the bathroom. Then, the cleaner came in. Bathroom didn't seem clean, no soap either to wash your hands.
No curtains, the lockers are metal crates that you’ll need a padlock for. My, and a girl in my same room, had our passports stolen and I blame these crates. I had it in my backpack locked in the crate, but to be honest I could see how someone would’ve figured out a way to slightly open the crate and get to it. All in all, not very secure arrangements and being by Temple Bar puts you in a bit of sketchy area.
Nice staff. Warm room. Reasonble comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast.
tout est bon sauf peut-être l'isolation sonore
A cheerful welcoming and a helpful staff. Thank you so much. We'll certainly come back.
$200 earbuds stolen out of my bed while I was napping. Lockers were almost unusable due to excessive screeching when opened and close proximity to other ends/locker such that you could barely open them. Annoying guest escorted out.
Very disappointing breakfast option. Thought there'd at least be a hot option.
Personale accogliente e sempre disponibile. Ottima posizione se di notte si vuole fare festa nei pub di Temple Bar, ma anche per vicinanza alle principali attrazioni turistiche della città (15/20 minuti di camminata e si raggiunge tutto). Stanza comoda e pulita. Ci tornerei!
Party hostel with people coming in at all hours of the night so be prepared. No curtains on beds. Went to small tv room one evening but not working Small common areas. Very central location Expensive for what you get. But this is Dublin lol
We stayed at Gogarty's for a portion of our short-term study abroad trip. We are so pleased with our experience! The rooms were clean and secure, the location was perfect! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Fabio went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed, and we are grateful for his help and advice!
Excellent location, right in the heart of Temple Bar. Free ear plugs at reception were essential for the live music that goes on every night. A little bit expensive if you ask me, but I suppose you pay more for good location
Great location and atmosphere. No AC so just be careful when going in summer as the rooms get quite hot
The most overpriced place we may have ever stayed anywhere in the world. $200/night and towels only included when I complain. And disgraceful breakfast. Maybe it cost the company $1 per person? The staff and location was great though. I will definitely never stay here again.
Party Hostel in the center of Dublins party district
Todo ok, el desayuno muy bien
Superb location in the heart of Dublin, pub with live music and great food on site. train station not far. Take the bus from airport, drops u one block away.
Doors :) I slept surprisingly well (bring hearplugs!). Breakfast could be better. Rainbow flag shows home territory.
Usually I’d give this place a higher rating after a long day of holding onto our backpacks, finally checked in, & after we settled we found hair on the pillow from prior use… which was fine since it was 1 small single strand..but after getting on the top bunk the blanket felt wet?! & there were 2 big urine stains on it. Immediately got it exchanged with a new one from the staff…but on top of that if u don’t mind NOT SHOWERING AFTER A LONG DAY THIS UR PLACE TO STAY. Shower head had drops...
Location of this hostel was great and really convenient. I also felt safe at the hostel and I can confirm the fire alarm works. I just wished staff sent some kind of notice of what they expected guests to do in the middle of the night while the alarm went off, we were all so confused. Staff I encountered was friendly and helpful. The room, however, felt a bit humid and smelled bad even when the window was open. We also had one restroom to share in the 8-bed bedroom.
Late review but I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were all friendly and kind, also very helpful.
