Hostel Louna

Friendly staff but weird atmosphere. No real hostel vibes, not really the place to meet people. There was another guest who made me feel a bit uneasy, but as the rooms could effortlessly be locked from the inside, as well as the shower rooms, I felt safe nonetheless. It is possible to cook your own food, pots and a stove are available.

The hostel Lõuna brings double feelings. It's in a perfect location of Pärnu old town. The staff is super nice. Security is fine, cleanliness okay. But there hasn't been any service standards or facility upgrade for years. The dorm rooms feel like a military hospital. Shower cabins and ceilings look bad (toilets and sinks are fine though). And the worst thing is that the owners (a church) decided to make the rooms mixed! Men and women are in the same room. Terribly uncomfortable! Amen. :)

Die Unterkunft ist sauber, aber schon etwas heruntergekommen. Die Lage ist schön neben einem Park und insgesamt ist die Unterkunft für einen kurzen Aufenthalt zufriedenstellend

the staff was great, kind and helpful. the only problem is the location, during Friday night a lot of drunk russians were making nosie outside of hostel (there is a playground for children there).

Decent place to stay! A bit overpriced, but quiet atmosphere and basic needs provided.

Totally fine for a few days to stay and to spend the nights there, but do not expect any comfort. The hostel is close to the beach as well as to the busstation.

The hostel is completely run down and worn out. At the reception a very indifferent lady who pretended to be nice. After doing my groceries, I found a kitchen so extremely outdated, that I decided to book a different accommodation for the night. It was worth the extra money; at least I had a place with atmosphere, which Hostel Louna completely lacked.

It was an okay experience, luggage drop they advertised to be free was just "leave your stuff on the corridor unattended" so not what i expected. The building was nice and people were generally very nice. They couldn't find my booking when i arrived so i had to pay the full price, which was odd..

Very strange atmosphere at the hostel. It was nearly empty when I was there beginning September. The sheets barely were big enough to stay over the mattress, which was a little gross. The bathrooms were decent. Showers were just curtains only, so no way to actually lock or ensure privacy. It was a cheap stay, and good location to walk everywhere, but I wouldn’t stay again.

This didn't feel like a hostel more like some sort of institution. There wasn't an atmosphere here, I didn't meet any other travellers. The room I stayed in hadn't been cleaned properly, around the lockers was filthy, lots of dust. Beds were close together and only a few of them had sockets near them. I shortened my planned stay and got a refund as I really didn't like it.

Das Hostel ist ein sehr schönes altes Haus, aus dem aber wenig gemacht wird. Es hat innen eine ziemlich düstere Athmosphere, mit der Ausstrahlung eines altmodisches Heims oder Landschulheim aus früheren Zeiten. Die schlafräume sind funktional, die Waschräume auch. Sauber und funktional. Der Aufenthaltsraum ist insgesamt recht heruntergekommen und kein Platz, wo man sich gerne niederlässt und sich wohlfühlt. Schmuddelige Tischdecken und Sitzmöglichkeiten. Aber es hat alles funktioniert/ K...

A good hostel, but not great. Very few people staying there so not much of an atmosphere. Good location and staff were nice. If you’re looking for a place to sleep and shower with not much else, this is for you! If you want more from a hostel then you probably won’t like it. I would be happy to stay here again.

Was not a bad hostel, just not a very good one.
