Hostel Suomenlinna

Pasamos allí dos días y una noche y solo puedo decir que fue una maravillosa elección para finalizar nuestro viaje. La ubicación es inmejorable, ya que está cerca del ferry. La Isla merece mucho la pena y dormir en el alberge hace la visita mucho más entrañable. La habitación para 4 estaba supe limpia, así como toda la ropa de cama y toallas. El baño a pesar de ser compartido también estaba muy limpio. Las instalaciones son muy acogedoras.

Wonderful place to stay. My only regret is that I didn’t stay on Suomenlinna longer simply because the hostel is so cozy. P.S. as a Canadian, I love the no shoes indoors policy

Hostel excelente e tranquilo, a poucos passos do ferry. Como cheguei após as 15h, recebi o código de entrada por e-mail, e um envelope com a chave do meu quarto e instruções estava em uma caixa no saguão. Tive um quarto só para mim, pois o hostel estava vazio (apenas mais dois hóspedes), o que para alguns pode ser incômodo, mas achei ótimo. Na manhã seguinte, o hostel estava movimentado com a chegada de um grupo de excursão. A recepcionista Suski foi muito simpática e prestativa. Rec...

J'avais réservé cet hostel sans me rendre compte que c'était sur une île. Et bien j'ai bien fait de me tromper! L'auberge est top et le lieu est absolument magnifique ! L'accès en ferry est simple, et il y en a jusqu'à 2h du matin, donc pas de stress de le rater. Je suis arrivée après les heures d'ouverture donc je n'ai pas vraiment eu d'occasion de rencontrer le personnel, mais tout était prêt pour mon arrivée! Vraiment, allez y!

We had a great stay here! The place was very clean (bathrooms, shared kitchen and rooms). And the staff was so kind and helpful with any questions we had. The also gave us some tips for the island :) The only minus was that walls upstairs were not so thick so you can hear the upper floor and outside a bit more than we would have wanted. But still slept well. Will definitely be coming back to this hostel!

Do it do it do it. Go there and experience the island especially in the evenings when it's quieter. The only thing I would say, and it's my fault I didn't read the pre stay info is there is no oven just 2 electric hobs a couple of pans and a microwave. So my pizza was soggy.

The facilities were quite good. The hostel had a working kitchen when I was there, murals over the walls in a cute Chinese style, and a small common area. I was there in the off season so people were keeping to themselves, but the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I didn't have a padlock and they did not provide one, so I was a bit worried about security.

Great stay at this hostel on a gorgeous archipelago. The hostel is well heated in winter, right next to the ferry stop. It's very clean, the staff is friendly, there is a kitchen for the guests and a large and cozy living room. Good wifi. I really enjoyed going for a walk on the snowy paths in the early morning before the tourists arrive on the island.

A cozy hostel on the beautiful island of Suomenlinna, at a convenient location near the ferry port and a grocery store. Clean, spacious room and a big common space. Staying at the hostel is a great opportunity to explore the UNESCO World Heritage group of islands and enjoy the serene environment and nature.

Greatest location for a hostel ever being on the most interesting island and still seconds away from a supermarket, cafe and ferry port. Staff left a little to be desired for me personally and the atmosphere was lacking purely because of the time of year which didn't bother me at all. The facilities are very good and generous with their supplies. Lucky to have a dorm to myself but overall loved my time there.

I stayed here in February, so there weren't many people. In fact it was almost empty. The building itself is very old and basic so don't expect anything modern. It was pretty clean, and the kitchen was tiny but decent. The island itself can be explored in just one day, but it's a short boat trip to Helsinki city centre, so this hostel can be good if you want some peace and quiet.

Very nice atmosphere. Complimentary coffee and tea with milk and oat milk as well. Nice to have opportunity for breakfast buffet. It was very basic though. Would have appreaciated real oatmeal and natural yogurt or eggs for protein. But I did enjoy rye bread with butter and some vegetables.

My sister and I really enjoyed our 2-night stay here. The first night we were the only guests so we had the whole place to ourselves. The second night, there were only 2-3 other guests. If you want a peaceful and quiet hostel, this is the place for you! If you want a place to meet other people, this is probably not the best spot.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hostel is close to the wharf and it's very near the local grocery shop. Overall, i had a comfortable stay at Hostel Suomenlinna.

I had the loveliest time at this hostel, I cannot express how safe + comfortable I was! The location is amazing (I was nervous about the ferry ride but it is so easy), the facilities are great (I was genuinely blown away by how nice the bathrooms were), and the staff is so kind. Some unexpected highlights were the free padlocks (€4 deposit is returned) and complimentary shower products. I stayed in the all-female bunk, and would highly recommend this spot to any other solo female travelers :)

Awesome stay. Very quiet and empty in October, but great nonetheless.
