I booked a mixed dorm expecting it to be a good ratio of women to men and was disturbed by the reality. I was placed in a room full of men who were unhygienic, oddly pervasive in space, loud at night. When I went to the front desk my 1st night asking for a relocation to an all women dorm, I was denied possibility, as well was told that I would have to make a new reservation, even though I already had one. The bathroom was fine after staff cleaned, however I was unable to use it later. Horrible.
Terrible hostel, 10 bed room with only one shower and one bathroom, really terrible experience, I don't recommend it
Good enough bed to sleep in. Not much more or less.
Staff was nice, but the room in the basement had a horrible smell and the toilet didnt work. Everything looked clean but the smell was suggesting otherwise. It's okay for one night and the location is fine, but I wouldn't stay here again.
La habitacion estaba bien y la ubicación muy centrica. Andando se podia llegar a cualquier sitio de la ciudad en relativamente poco tiempo.
Pretty good experience, walkable distance from the city center and room was good.
This was a fine place to sleep, but there was no organisation of social events and the common space was always dead silent. Also no microwave or anything so you have to eat out. The staff was lovely which was a bonus :) beds were fairly comfy and I felt like my ensuite bathroom was clean, but would be nice to have alternative showers outside the room as well
An okay stay and the staff are lovely but just make sure you read the description to know what you're getting into. If you are just after a bed then this is a perfect place to stay at but if you want to meet people or want anything more then maybe not the place to go. The common area is small and there's no events. I'm not really complaining, for the price it's very serviceable and the staff are amazing. A minor suggestion I would make is for the bathrooms to have proper hooks.
Good overall experience, happily recommend. Unfortunately , building workers were inconsiderate, started early including weekend
Nel complesso una buona esperienza
OK - lovely staff but the rooms are boiling!!!
Établissement très bien situé, les chambres sont très propres et bien équipées ! La team est super aimable et serviable
There was no access to drinking water in the ensuite. The mattress and bedding were really thin and we slept badly on both nights. There was long-term extensive building works right outside the hostel, and the windows weren't thick enough to keep the sound out, so we were woken up at 7.
My stay here was amazing. Comfortable beds, very friendly staff, very safe a for a solo female traveler, and the cleanliness and hygiene aspects of it were acceptable too. Only thing I found missing was a hairdryer. Also I recommend you to bring your own towel and padlocks since they charge for it. I would definitely stay there If I ever visit Glasgow again.
This was not really a Hostel. You have shared dorms but no kitchen and only a very small common area. This was kind of the opposite of cozy. It’s cheap and great if you only look for a place to sleep. But if you want a hostel, this is not the one for you!
The rooms are ok but quite dark. I was in a female 6 bedroom and we had 1 bathroom which isn’t enough. There also isn’t a shower mat in the bathroom. There should be extra showers outside of the room. The atmosphere is completely dead and they don’t plan any activities for the guests. The common room closes at 11 pm which makes it even less social. If you’re not eating their breakfast, you also cannot be in the common room until after 11 am. I wouldn’t recommend it here
Stayed for a night and was glad to get out. Towel rental was expensive. Light within the dorm room was out and absolutely no lift for luggage. Lockers were far too small for a backpack. Fine stay, no problems but overall would try not to return.
Very nice accommodation with the most welcoming, kind, helpful staff. I highly recommend.
when you are looking to stay in a hostel you should have access to at least a microwave and a kettle to be able to eat something on site OR offering sandwiches in the vending machine. at this place you are obligated to go out to eat and it's not budget friendly. Also, having to stay in a room that is basically IN a construction site is so bad! it may be cheap but you can't get any sleep in the morning since they started at like 7am. also people in the room were so loud. staff friendly.
staff were so so friendly and helpful! we booked a 4 bed private room but was moved to the 6 bed one as that one had better heating, which was lovely of them and that meant we all got a bottom bunk :) only annoyance was the extremely loud building works starting at 7am, obviously nothing the hostel could do about it but a little warning would have been nice i think. beds were comfy enough and lots of room for the 3 of us. very close to everything we needed.
