People are nice, but only.

Personnel pas très accueillant. Cuisine sale et une salle de bain au rez de chaussée inutilisable. 3 prises de courant pour 14 lits.

I was disappointed by the quality of the place. It did not look like the picture on their profile. We booked a private room and when we got there the room looked dirty. There was chips from the people before us, the sink was duct-taped together, the walls had brown spots on them, the comforter was gross with spots all over, the window was broken, the shower was broken, so we had to uses the bathroom on another floor, the shower was lucky one of the cleaner places but still not great and the toil

I’ve stayed in quite a lot of hostels and I just think this place needs a fair bit of work. The key didn’t work. The WiFi didn’t work. The walls were so thin and the Tv was on way past 2am in main area. The sink didn’t work in the loo and there was no toilet flush. But most of all, it just didn’t feel very clean… The floor especially. Staff were very friendly though.

Went there for the kitchen. Only 1 small fridge for 20/40 people full house + no space in kitchen for people’s food. Fridge and shelves very dirty. Ustensiles not especially clean. Rest is mostly clean. Perfect for peeps liking noise and community. Hard to chat as quite vibrant. The big boss was using misogynist phrases whilst repairing. Not great to wake up to and quite triggering. Small lockers to lock things up. Could not use as badly set in the room so not very accessible. But met nice pee...

Wir hatten keine hohen Erwartungen bei dem Preis, wurden aber trotzdem enttäuscht: - unangenehmer Geruch - kaputte Tür (4 Schlüssel haben nicht gepasst) - Spinde im Zimmer kaputt bzw. aufgebrochen - uns wurde an keiner Stelle vermittelt, dass es Ansprechpersonen gibt, falls wir Probleme haben oder uns unwohl fühlen - als Frau habe ich mich sehr unsicher gefühlt - Schild „no wanking“ sehr unangemessen - Küche nicht zum Kochen geeignet - kindische und respektlose Antworten auf...

lovely to meet new people, quirky little hostel, nice communal area for evening drinks, kitchen to make food. cheap and easy.

great hostel, so cheap but honestly a nice hostel. brilliant staff so friendly. rooms were warm and clean. really handy location. great hostel x

The location of the hostel is a nice area- right next to plenty cafés and restaurants. You can definetly tell the hostel is not the newest. The rooms were not really lovely, most of the beds weren‘t made and you could see just matresses without sheets. The kitchen is alright. The keys are not working that well which was a bit annoying. The stuff is friendly but a bit reservated. All in all okay if you are travelling on a budget.

Das Hostel ist okay. Allerdings finde ich 2 Steckdosen für einen 16 Personen-Schlafsaal nicht genug und mir fehlten Mülleimer in den Klokabinen. Leselampen und Ablagen bei den Betten wären auch praktisch.

I never write bad reviews but I honestly feel like people need to be warned about this hostel. It felt like a half way house, we felt unsafe and uncomfortable as two women. The hostel was filthy- we understand it’s a hostel but surely a certain level of cleanliness is required to continue running- shower, kitchen and common areas were disgusting and not cleaned. I knew the place was bad based on the reviews, but I didn't expect it to be that bad. I've been to bad places just to save money, but this one had nothing to do with other places. The showers are old as f**k, really filthy and don't work properly. Clearly the owners don't look for the hostel they own. The attitude of staff was terrible, very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Generally not very clean at all and did not answer phone, despite calling several times.

The hostel is very dirty. I know that it’s a budget hostel but it doesn’t mean you wont keep it clean. I have stayed in 100s hostel in last 3-4 years. It has been one of the dirtiest. Also Things are very old and rusty.

This is the worst hostel i have ever stayed at and i have stayed at many hostels all over the world. The rooms along with the rest of the building was FILTHY and the vibe was so bad that my friend and I literally stood outside the shower while each other showered. We ended up leaving after 1 night and finding another place to stay. When i tried to discuss all my concerns with the hostel they literally emailed back and told me to “f*** off”. This review is a warning to travellers.

Decent enough for a couple nights; you get what you pay for. Safe and warm bed to sleep in, great location right in the center of the city walking distance to everything, and the staff are friendly and helpful. But the place is obviously very old and has a off-putting vibe with kids drawings on the walls. Theres a weird smell everywhere, no privacy for the bunk beds, and two toilets for the whole hostel. Its fine for a night or two, but any stay longer is worth finding nicer accomodations.

We felt an uncomfortable/strange vibe in the common area. The waterpower of the shower upstairs is very poor -not great if you want to wash your hair. We arrived around 10 am (bit earlier than expected), there was no one to open the door and no one picked up the phone. When we eventually did check in around 9pm, the room was not cleaned since the previous guests, also the bedsheets weren't changed. The personnel was friendly and helpful but the overal atmosphere belt strange.

The staff are welcoming and efficient, with a smooth afternoon check-in. The stairwell, lined with artwork from past tenants, adds character on the way up. Rooms are clean and well-prepared, with fresh linens and tidy floors. Evenings bring a lively hostel vibe as common areas fill with conversation and activity, while mornings return to calm and order. A friendly, social place—just remember to label food and grab drinks before 10 PM :)

Smelled, damaged facilities. Tbf the room was private and reasonably clean.
