The Dreamcatcher Hostel (Nathon)

Perfect hostel for some peace away from the crowds on Koh Samui! Thai owned and they are so nice and helpful :) also exceptionally clean considering it's a beach hostel!

I spent one night here bc the day after I was gonna take the ferry to ko tao. I wish I could’ve stayed longer, such a nice place, quiet with an incredible view of the beach. Bed was comfy and the ac worked well. The place is spotless and the staff super friendly.

booked bc everyone said Gigi was amazing but there was no Gigi. a older man was taking over i guess and he wasn’t at check in when i arrived so i ended up waiting wound for a long time. he seemed reel my. confused every day. he also wasn’t able to cook any of the breakfast options except scrambled eggs so there wasn’t much food happening. amazing location right by the beach, not social at all and no activities

lovely & very chill hostel right at the beach. Calm surroundings & very friendly staff. 2mins away from the next 7eleven and 15mins from the next town & piers. The rooms had everything we needed and there were always water and snacks available. a big plus was the delicious breakfast you could order at the hostel (which you paid extra for, but really didn't cost much). Would recommend staying there for a grounding, relaxing holiday.

Great staff / owner, located a 15 min walk from Nathon pier, was ideal for an overnight stay after arriving late at Nathon Pier from Surat Thani. GG the owner is lovely and very funny. Towels are included, self service bar, right on the beach!!! Amazing to sit there under the natural tree canopy and watch the world go by. AC in dorms is great, breakfast lovely too.

Wenn man etwas Ruhe vom Trubel sucht, aber trotzdem Restaurants etc. in Reichweite haben möchte, ist das Dreamcatcher das perfekte Hostel. Es ist wirklich ein Ort zum wohlfühlen und das Personal ist unfassbar freundlich.

the only really nice things where the staff and the beach. the rest was not good!! the matteres was soo thin and the people there 30+. As a solo traveler would not recommend! Don’t book it if you are female and under 25 and don’t smoke.

Best hostel on the island if you want to relax and chill by the beach. Food is AMAZING and reasonably priced, Gigi (the owner) is absolutely wonderful and so kind, it is close to Koh samui’s best night market and used clothes market on tuesdays!! Best sunsets on the island. probably my favourite stay so far in Thailand :) I booked one night and ended up staying a week. Amazing value for money if you are a low budget backpacker like me!! 🧡🧡🧡

A nice quite hostel by the beach had booked a doorm room but staff upgraded us to a private for free when we got there. Grate place to stay at

L’hostel est plutôt bien situé, près du port, mais malheureusement mon expérience n’a pas été agréable. La salle de bain n’était pas propre, le lit sentait mauvais, et la salle de bain était éloignée de la chambre. Je n’ai vraiment pas apprécié mon séjour.

It was great!

The owner of this hostel is truly a gem, she goes out of her way to make your stay a nice experience. Waking up to the ocean sounds was so calming and beautiful and the sunsets were gorgeous. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and an older crowd than what I have experienced before. An addition of bedside lamps would be perfect!

GG is awesome. The whole staff is great. Cheap breakfast right on site. Wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee with your toes in the sand, or in the water if the tide is high enough. They rent scooters too!

Die Unterkunft war Großartig. Die Lage ist auf der ruhigeren Seite von Samui mit einem Roller kommt ihr, aber überall hin. Das Hostel liegt direkt am Meer hat eine tolle Chill Area und das Personal ist großartig.

Séjour très spécial, je n’ai pas aimé. Les dortoirs sont assez cloques (ressemblent plus à une cave), pas spécialement de grands rideaux donc peu d’intimité, et les lits sont d’une dureté ! Par contre, si vous aimez la tranquillité et que vous souhaitez être dans un endroit peu bougeant de l’île, c’est parfait pour vous. Points positifs : l’auberge donne directement sur la plage, bon petit dej, et personnel adorable

My friend and I had a lovely stay here! The hostel being literally on the beach was so cool! Thank you Gigi for being such a lovely host! My friend had a great time in the cooking class. Thank you Gigi for driving us to the pier in the rain :)

The only good thing is the location if you need to stay the night near the pier to catch a ferry. Almost no traveller's there, I was with 3 others. Nothing to do, the beach goes about 1 km back at daytime so swimming is nit an option. Just know what you're getting yourself into when you book, that's all :)

GG the owner is amazing, sweet, attentive to her guest’s needs, she's a gem. The food is good, the view is superb, the cats are affectionate. But the mattresses are very hard in the dorms. The hostel is on a very noisy road even at night, and the water is at low tide during the day, so no swimming.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Gigi was very nice and the location directly at the beach was nice. It’s more quiet, if that’s what you’re looking for, you will be happy here. Also the breakfast was really good ☺️
