I loved this hostel. The beds were very private and comfortable, facilities great. I loved the vibe and the people - social but super relaxed. This is the best side of the island for beaches and the sunset too. Defo go here!

Everything was perfect, I loved it there! Clean, cozy, aesthetic facility. Great social vibes, dreamy location waking up by the beach surrounded by nature! Very authentic, passionate, peaceful and quiet where you could enjoy the true beauty of Koh Samui! Felt very safe too!

Hostel proche du port, calme avec une épicerie et un restaurant juste devant et au bord de l’eau (attention pas de plage à marrée haute). Si vous recherchez de la tranquillité c’est parfait ! Sinon, il faudra plutôt chercher de à 45 minutes de l’autre bout de l’île où ça bouge plus et où vous avez le night market. Ils louent des scooters si besoin ainsi que des kayaks et des paddle. Le personnel était très gentil et nous avons passés 3 nuits au top ! Merci

Sehr gutes Hostel in ruhiger Lage. Gemütliche Betten und gepflegte Einrichtung. Man ist allerdings auf einen Scooter angewiesen.

The location seems like a plus because you’re next to a beach but the tide comes in and there’s no beach until nighttime. There are so many volunteers that seem to live there who are rude and entitled, one woman who smokes daily would glare at us without so much as ever saying hi back and she brought cigarette smoke smell everywhere. There is free water available and a small kitchen which was great but getting anywhere will cost you a 500-700 baht grab car or a scooter rental throughout the ...

It's a lovely hostel with the most lovely, helpful staff, who also share recommendations for restaurants and activities (which are great!). If you would like a quiet, isolated, few days on a beautiful, paradise-like beach it's perfect. Motorbikes can be rented near by for those that want to move around. Bed is comfortable and lockers are big! The only downside is that it could be cleaner.

I hate leaving bad reviews but given that I chose this hostel based on these amazing reviews, I want to warn other fellow travelers. This was by far my worst hostel experience mainly bc of the rude staff. Also, it’s not a hostel vibe at all, it’s more like a home stay that could not have been more cold and unfriendly. As a solo female traveler I felt awkward with the all male staff watching my every move in the tiny house, practically staring. Location is stunning but could not wait to get...

Das Aforetime ist ein absoluter Traum. Aung, Phyo und Sam sind immer mit einem offenen Ohr da und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Ich habe mich die ganzen 9 Tage so wohlgefühlt und werde auf alle Fälle wieder hier übernachten, wenn ich auf Koh Samui bin. Die Lage, die Nachbarn, die Atmosphäre alles passt. Das Hostel ist sehr sauber und das kleine Snackangebot lecker vom Bäcker in der Straße.

Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at so far!! The area is quiet and the hostel is directly located at the beach, but also not too far from stores and such things! The hostel provides everything you need and they did everything to make me feel welcome!! The owner and the staff were the nicest people, very attentive and I honestly whish I could’ve stayed longer. Huge recommendation!! Place was also really clean and they provided towels & free water bottles (refill station as well).

Relaxed, tranquil hostel right next to the beach. The people here are very friendly. Bedrooms have Aircon, good mattress and curtains etc. Would definitely recommend (as someone who doesn't stay in hostels often)

Off the bat, Sam was class. Super friendly and helpful and keen to make sure you have a good stay. But, unless you get a scooter, I don’t know how you’ll get here. Super hot in the daytime but comfortable in the dorms at night. There’s a detached roof terrace that looks immediately out onto the beach and has wifi, which was a great bonus. Everything feels like Sam made it, which I loved, but, unless you drive and/or like your own company, you might find it isolating here.

If you just want to chill, this is the perfect hostel for you! Stayed in over 25+ hostels and Sam, the owner, is the most friendliest guy you’ll meet. Offers lifts when taxis are playing up, has genuine conversations with you about anything and sorts out anything you need! Sunsets here are banging as well where you can paddle board in the sea provided by the hostel for a small fee. Can’t recommend this hostel enough!

Het word echt gerund door de liefste mensen ooit! Ze doen er echt alles aan om het leuk voor iedereen te maken. Het zit aan een prachtig strandje maar verder moet je wel echt een scooter hebben.

The owner Sam was very sweet! he went above and beyond to help every person there. easy access to food, drinks, scooters, and the beach. I loved it, a nice place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Een perfecte relaxed plek, met leuke vrijwilligers. Een echte aanrader.
