BBVC Hostel Collegestay

The room was very nice and I found it social. A different set up where all of the beds are singles which was fun. The students running the hostel are friendly and doing a great job! Make sure you are confident riding a scooter if you stay here as it’s far away from a lot of the attractions and taxis in Koh Samui are quite expensive.

Very kind staff! The students are doing a great job. I liked the experience. It is pretty far away from everything else and you need a bike or taxi to get away (or walk 30-40+ minutes) which is unfortunate. Other than that: good price and nice rooms!

I arrived in Koh Samui and received an email an hour before I was due to check in saying there was a system error and my accom was cancelled. I had to leave the island due to no accom being available there. I was then in contact with the manager who was sorry and that was ok. I was offered a refund of my deposit in which he said he would process the following day. It’s now been 3 days and I emailed asking for an update where I’ve been completely ignored and lost my deposit. Not impressed

good vibe and also a nice idea that you're supporting the students when you stay there. the people were also very nice and guestfriendly. You do have to rent a scooter when you want to see more things in Koh Samui because its a bit far from the centre but it is a beautiful location!

Really enjoyed my stay here, kind staff, clean beds, nice people around. Make sure you rent a scooter though as the distance to town is quite a walk. Great breakfast buffet and good social area to hang out and meet people with a TV and comfy couches. Would definitely stay again!

Bis auf die Lage gibt es hier nichts einzuwenden. Man kann sich auch direkt am Hostel Roller mieten. Duschen und WC immer sauber gewesen. Das Personal, welches Stundenten sind, war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Preis Leistung Top dafür das man noch ein super leckeres Frühstück inclusive bekommt. Top Unterkunft würde immer wieder hingehen.

Very friendly staff who are all students or teachers, also very clean beds, showers, and toilets. Had multiple living rooms to chill and watch TV.

Really great stay! It’s definitely a bit far but great value for the accommodation and you can rent a motorbike from them. The staff/students are very accommodating, sweet and caring! Breakfast was also very good! They have their own chicken farm and greenhouse. Would recommend!

Super freundlicher Manager kann auch mehrere Sprachen :) Allgemein freundliches personal besteht hauptsächlich aus den Schülern des Colleges. Leckeres Frühstück. Recht saubere Toiletten und Duschen:)

So it’s not your typical social hostel. I stayed there during countdown full moon as nothing was available on the island. The location is bit isolated, so without renting a motorbike it would be very difficult to commute. However it was a good stay, staff (students) were very warm and welcoming. Breakfast spread was so good, like the ones you can expect in hotels, and beds were comfortable. Overall a good stay and total value for money except location part. The staff makes up for everything.
