Overall I think this hostel is ok. It’s a little bit grubby but it’s nothing crazy. Beds were comfortable. This hostel is SO LOUD. I mean the bed literally vibrates because of the club next door and it goes till 6am. I didn’t mind because I was partying just bare that in mind.
Amazing staff and location
If you value sleep and your will to live.. stay the furthest you can away from this hostel! Green Mango club is right next door where music plays from 9pm till 4/5am. Genuinely questioned getting a flight home when We Found Love came on for the 3rd time at 5 am. Even with ear plugs or noice cancelling headphones you still feel the vibrations through the walls and mattress. There are no windows in the room/cave which creates an all round soulless vibe 🥰
Awful hostel. Not possible to sleep here. Music plays until 4/5am and people come into the room all through the night shouting and turning lights on. If you want to sleep in a hostel do not stay here - instead the beachfront hostel is a much better option for good location but quiet. The shower points directly over the toilet so the bathrooms are not good. Do not recommend at all !!
100baht fee for towels, staff weren’t very friendly, bathrooms were unhygienic. i left my towel and bathers when i left by mistake and never received a response when i called and emailed them politely. disappointed
Awfully noisy at night. One of the girls in our room brought a group of 6 boys into the room at 2am and they were shouting for a good 15 minutes. The shower was so so dirty and the basin had people’s dirty toiletries all around it
This hostel is in a great location and with a bit of work would be amazing. the shower water didn’t go down and water was held under floor which made a smell. other than this the room were great, very spacious and the staff so nice
If you want sleep I wouldn’t recommend it backs onto a club which wasn’t ideal. Blood stained walls and the laundry service was so bad I had to wait a day extra for it! Staff are nice but everything else was a let down :(
L’auberge est super bien placé. Malheureusement le côté sociable n’était pas présent quelques équipements cassés, de plus il est collé à l’aéroport. Donc si vous ne souhaitez pas entendre les avions.
honestly one of the worst stays in Thailand so far. Room was dirty and the ceiling was wet. Atmosphere was super off and weird. would not recommend at all
Bathrooms were gross with a bad smell. Club next door bangs music til 4am every night, to the point that the room vibrates… not worth staying at this place and all of Koh Samui is just overrun with tourists and full of garbage
Didn’t use pool/bar area as it just gave sadness vibes. You’ll hear music up until 4am from neighbouring clubs 🤩 Key card access for doors 👍🏾 security lockers big for large backpack 👍🏾 Beds = HUGE! Die Duschen sind in der Toilette, somit ist immer ALLES nass, es ist zu wenig Platz. Das schlimmste ist allerdings der Geruch. Abfluss stinkt furchtbar. Wasserhahn kaputt und dreckig. Der Club neben dem Hostel ist supet laut, somit konnten wir bis 4 Uhr Nachts nicht schlafen. Kein Fenstet im Zimmer und allgemein kühle und eher unsoziale/anonyme Athmosphäre. Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption unmotiviert. Alles in Allem stimmt hier das Preisleistungsverhältnis definitiv nicht!
Decent enough Hostel and has everything you need, but it lacks atmosphere due to the bar often closed, no music, and no activities going on (not really an issue as you’re next to everything).
Wer laute britische Party will, hat hier vielleicht Spaß, aber wir hatten es nicht und waren froh, nur eine (teuere) Nacht hier gebucht zu haben.
“Perfect location for a solo traveler looking to be near the heart of the action! Yes, the music was loud, but the hostel provided earplugs, and I slept great on a comfy mattress. The bathroom was excellent, the staff super friendly, and the pool and bar were fantastic bonuses. Highly recommend—I’ll definitely be back!
Was pretty unimpressed with this one, bathroom smelt absolutely foul and stunk out the whole room. Bar was rarely staffed and very little atmosphere. Rooms have no airflow so get very smelly with so many people
great for one night, good location but impossible to sleep at night because of the loud music.
Cold showers, no atmosphere, and the pool area was infested by mosquitoes. Good for one night if you’re desperate and have nowhere else to stay, but otherwise please avoid if you wanna have a good time
