this place felt very unsafe, lack of luggage storage, no privacy, no sink in the very small and smelly kitchen, no staff around despite ‘24 hour reception’ no clear entrance you have to get your code on a receipt paper via a tobacco shop
If you’re a real person don’t book this. Dingy and smelly. Grime coated windows and strange guests who will try to steal your things. You get what you pay for I suppose. Bring a lock and keep ALL things of value inside lockers.
goede s avonds heb er erg genoten precies wat ik zocht
What’s on the tin! Yes it’s budget but not bad at all!
A nice location, close enough to the city centre, for ease of travel, easy check-in, very clean and good facilities, would definately recommend.
Don't bother. super sketchy looking. i paid for a private room and they tried putting me in a shared room. It looks real run down. i ended staying elsewhere. the one good thing is the staff was super nice and gave me a full refund when asked.
It’s a budget hostel - exactly that. The place was clean and the customer service (from the shop below) was good - what more can you ask for.
Dirty Room, No Electricity, No Blinds, Broken Door, False Advertising, No Answer to Calls. Buzzer off. Unstaffed reception. ‘24-hour front desk’ is a lie. Stains on sheet. Dirt on floor. Bins piled high. ‘Soundproof rooms’ is false. One toilet room for three cubicles. Loud humming of machines prevents sleep. Avoid.
It's a joke, a lie for the parking lot we have to go down to the shop to ask for toilet papers. The bed is not ready yet and no one you don't know if a person has already slept in it
disgusting, low prices doesn't mean no respect.
No water in kitchen. Beds packed in. No receptionist.
This is not good place to have a good sleep and take rest.
i booked a single room but was put in an 8 bed room,i was the only person in there and it would have been crowded with 8 people, a new carpet and a lampshade wouldn't go amiss although the room was very warm, bed wasn't the best but it was only one night, wifi was excellent and toilets were clean, stairs are steep, location was ok and about 5 minutes walk from the metro station. don't follow the maps link in the booking confirmation, type the full address in, i would stay again,it was very cheap.
Bedsheets had stains on them, air smelt thick. Slept on top of blankets fully clothed because it felt so gross
Rough part of Newcastle. Toilets were broken, dirty showers and sinks. Thought I was going to get aids and even got tested when I got home. One towel between two of us. Place stunk of weed. Unless you are there for a couple of hours don’t go here.
The toilets had broken glass and all the toilet paper had been dropped in one of the toilets. My room was apparently not clean when I arrived, so they put me in a group room by myself, which was full of trash, including weed cigarettes, a used condom, cans of beer. I could not find a single member of staff to complain and I had to leave at 4am because I was terrified there would be bedbugs because it was so unclean.
Fake pictures, located above a small store owned by them, they’re kind but beds were dirty, so the ground was, crisps on the bed, bedsheets greasy… restroom dirty and bathroom as well, yeah
The old man Kevin is extremely nice!
This place is a disgrace. Avoid this place at any cost! First of all it's in a bad neighborhood, but that's the least of an issue. The worst part is the fact that this place is a complete dump, I am sure it probably violates several security and building codes. - it's dirty - it's grimy - holes in floors and walls - no heating (the heaters are there but not turned on, me and the other people in the room had to sleep in winter coats) - no hot water in sinks and more (but I reached all...
Literally the worst hostel I ever seen. Couldn’t sleep the night. It stinks
