Corner Hostel

A lovely family-run hostel, cozy, welcoming and very clean. The true highlight is the unique mini apartment set inside a boat in the garden, which looks like it would be an unforgettable stay, perfect for anyone looking for extra privacy.

Staff are really friendly and accommodating and the hostel is clean. It's very centrally located too which is helpful if you need to grab some groceries or a haircut for example. Good place to stay after the W trek in Torres!

Nous avons séjourné en chambre privé avec sa salle de bain, la chambre était très bien. Pour la cuisine, il manquait un peu d’ustensiles. La gaziniere est dehors (mais abritée).

Only stayed for one night before camping in Torres del Paine but staff was super kind and gave restaurant recommendations nearby when we arrived late. Bathrooms are up a spiral staircase in the rooms. They have other toilets outside the room as well. Have an actual gas cooking area but it’s outside.

Warning: Bed bugs &Severe Allergic& Hostel owner Bad manner and rejected to deal the things Strongly not recommended The room and beds were extremely dirty and infested with bugs. I was bitten all over my body overnight, with severe red welts, itching, and even bites around my eyes, causing a serious allergic reaction. This ruined my entire trip and health. Basic hygiene and pest control are non-existent here. DO NOT STAY HERE if you value your health and travel plans.

Avoid avoid avoid!!! ❌ I hadn’t looked at reviews in the days leading to staying here and I really paid the price. Was bitten lots by bed bugs. Hostel owner didn’t care one bit and didn’t take any responsibility for having them or for letting people stay there whilst they knowingly have a problem. Also called me f-ing crazy when I asked for money back/money for laundry.

Unfortunately there is bed bugs. Blitz your bed with the alcohol spray they provide. They are trying to rectify this issue and doing their best to prevent by making people spray their bags but we found a dead bed bug in our bed. We were fresh off the plane from Canada so really doubt it was from us. Private room with private bathroom is cleanest but right next to living room so very loud. Shared shower isn’t very clean, doesn’t drain well.

The reviews about the ceiling height in the locker and bathroom area are true not just people exaggerating. Half well equipped kitchen, with funky outside hob. Hard to sit at the boat table... Most of the hostels in the area are expensive so it's decent

Bed Bugs ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ They take care of the property - spraying alchol on beds but there are bed bugs. Also its annoying st night very easy to wake people up - small rooms. Staff is nice

Extremely friendly staff that made us feel so welcome. Location was fantastic and was thoroughly cleaned everyday.

rooms are small ish, beacuse of the stairs up in the middle it gets anoying with no good place for the bag. the celling for the showers and locker is really low, i had to bend down to be able to take a shower. apart from those problem the hostel is great with nice atmosphere and nice staff

Lockers were spacious 👍 Kitchen table (boat shape) is rather uncomfortable - sorry. We appreciated the effort of its construction though! We didn't love the low ceiling in the bathroom and locker area. We had to bend all the time. Zoé (staff) was super friendly! :)

Great hostel. Really enjoyed my stay. Spacious room and very good beds. Kitty and Carolina were great. Only downside is the dorm bathroom if you are very very tall, you might hit your head a few times. Would stay again!

really cozy place! beautifully renovated house, cool carpentry work. and very friendly people running it. (but not everything is built for tall people)
