I had a great stay at ITH. My visit coincided with Holi and the staff made sure we all had a fantastic time. Thanks very much!
Exceptional. We had the garden room. Very private excellent bathroom and shower. Felt totally at home. The staff were very friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. The food was of a high standard, vegetarian only menu, but the food was excellent. A real peaceful retreat from the noise and bustle of the town. Well recommended.
We had a great stay. It is great to have a hub in a more silent region of this very intense city. Also super friendly staff how also helped us getting a local Sim. Thank you again we will come back by any chance.
I stayed there for 2N/3D. I had a wonderful stay at International Travellers Hostel. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming, friendly, and full of positive energy. A special thanks to Mr. Vikas (Manager) for his kindness, professionalism, and personal attention. He makes sure every guest feels comfortable and cared for, which really sets this hostel apart. Huge appreciation as well to Rajesh, the cook, for the delicious food and warm hospitality. The meals felt truly homemade.
very nice place to stay. Clean, calm, and nice. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Very clean hostel and very nice and helpfull staff. It's also possible to eat in the hostel and order Food and trinks. The rooms and beds were very clean.
A nice and clean hostel a bit outside of the centre, which we intentionally chose and were definitely right as the hostel lies in a quiet and nice street, the garden seating is vey relaxing. The rooms and facilities are new and well kept, definitely a great deal, would come and stay again! Special plus: the washing machine and plenty of space to hang the clothes!
Decent hostel and friendly staff!
there is no division between the dorms. The common room is where the hotel owner lives with his family and you go through that to the dorms which is basically a hall connected. The hostel manager plays music, family has picnic and goes abt their day the whole time which you can clearly listen when you sleep on your bed. It is like a dharamshala. 2/5. The manager mother is an old lady she was sweet. You can order food from outside. Not recommended.
Location is a bit of town, and most drivers didn’t know the location of the hostel. We stayed in the “suite” and not the shared rooms. Room was nice, however no top sheet and only a blanket without a cover (seemed clean?), shower water pressure was woeful, had to shower together so one could hold the nozzle. there were mosquitoes in the room. Large windows to common area had inadequate curtains which made you feel a bit exposed. Suggest that shared rooms are better here
Fantastic hostel. Location is a bit far from the center and it's a bit quiet atmosphere wise, but everything else is perfect. Very clean hostel, hot shower, comfy beds with curtains for privacy, beautiful garden to sit around, good wifi, good food, and a laundry machine you can use. Bikas, the manager, speaks great English and is a welcoming, super friendly person that will help you with anything you might need. There's a security guard at the entrance at all times. It's spacious and quiet.Book!
Very nice hostel, amazing garden oasis to wind down after a busy day in the city. The staff is really nice, even offered to pick us up from the train station at night to walk us to the hostel. Would recommend for female travelers.
The room and the entire building are cozy, with an agreeable garden where relax, have breakfast or dinner. The position is perfect if you desire to rest after visiting the crowdy Varanasi streets along the Gange, which are easily reachable by tuk tuk in 15 minutes. The staff is gentle and the food is super:)
Positives: Very close to the train station. Large areas to socialize Staff are friendly and always willing to assist Negatives: Lacking atmosphere - though not to the hostels fault. There simply were no travelers present when I was there. A lot of mosquitoes Food menu is a bit overpriced
Staff is very unresponsive. The concept of dormitory has been implemented very poorly, there is a dorm inside a dorm. The quality of towel provided is very pathetic. I banged my head on main entrance and asked for an ice pack 3-4 times but they did not provide that as well. Mattresses on the bed are super hard. I would suggest people not to make and sort of bookings here, especially people coming from out of India.
Staff is friendly and willing to help. The hostel is very close to the train station but a bit far from the main spots, so it could take some time to move there by tuk tuk during the day because of the traffic jam. Rooms are clean, but beds are a bit hard. Overall, I would say it's a recommended stay.
Place can use some more fans, light and AC for each room
Positive: nice big garden & common area. Negative I stayed in the female dorm & the staff (all men the receptionist and other were coming in and out in the female dorm without knocking or asking.I woke up to find a male staff right next to me cleaning. my purse was on my bed and money was missing now my fault as well but I didn’t expect the staff cleaning so early and without knocking or asking if they can come in. Bed super uncomfortable. Other guest were let in our dorms bathroom. Safety =...
Great hostel that is on a quiet street to escape the busy city. We also stayed over Holi and the hostel threw a party and provided food free of charge.
