Blue House

Staff was polite enough but spoke no english making it difficult to coordinate things like parking. Towels were not provided unless asked for. There was no typical hostel atmosphere to speak of.

I recommend it, very easy to access by bus, close to cheap restaurants and markets, the staff is nice, there’s curtains in the beds. The kitchen is clean and there’s a nice terrasse where you can chill.

Friendly people. They gave us another room in the other hotel. Because of the rain we had water in the bathroom, which was also close to the electric. So we were happy that they gave us another room. Some things in the Blue House are a little bit old. Maybe they can repair some things like the roof and the old windows and shower.

Good cheap place to stay in Quito. Bunk beds are absolutely massive and have curtains/a little cube, which is nice! the kitchen has everything youd need. and security is really great here too. atmosphere is a little quiet

we wanted to go out and they said that we couldn't because the maximum for entering again eas until 12:30 am. WHATTTTT? something like this never happened to me

It's quite alright. Best hostel I could find in Quito. It can get cold and it rains on the over roofed terrace. I was on the first floor accommodated and got woken up often by the early and late night music. The kitchen gets very easily crowded.

El hostal está genial, todo limpio, todo en orden y disponible para los huéspedes, cuartos, camas, áreas comunes todo bonito y limpio, no logran el 10 porque no te explican las reglas y todo al inicio, se entiende deben de tener miles de huéspedes y no es fácil repetir y repetir todo. Así que comprendo que a veces responden mal porque están cansados de escuchar la misma pregunta.

Stayed just for one night. The pod beds in the dorm are good for privacy, but I think the middle ones would be a bit claustrophobic. The staff were very nice and did my laundry very quickly. The kitchen was basic and did not seem well maintained or cleaned. Overall, the hostel was fine but could do with some renovations.

Nice place overall, but: to keep your bags they'll charge you $2/day/bag (which was eventually reduced to $1/day), even if they tell you it's free when you check in (FYI: we never had to pay for bags in any other hostel). The boss was really uncooperative, putting the blame on us and refusing to acknowledge what his recepcionist told us. He preferred to have us leave his hostel at 10pm. So if you go to that hostel, expect to have no help but confrontation if something goes wrong with the staff.

Las habitaciones limpias y cómodas, al igual que los baños. Queda muy cerca de lugares de interés y ambiente. Disfrutamos mucho de la mesa de billar. Sin dudas volvería.

Die Lage ist super ruhig und man findet auch alles in Fußnähe. Im unteren Schlafsal ist es leider etwas laut gewesen, da man direkt am Gemeinschaftsraum war und die Wände sehr hellhörig sind. Ansonsten super Hostel, sehr sauber und freundliches Personal

Great hostel, amazing staff and very cozy social atmosphere! Rooms a bit old but great for the price and actually had a very good sleep. Location safe and next to everything you might need. We would definitely stay again :))

Superchill nice place in a good party area! Only stayed for one night, but def happy I did! Very quiet. Good beds. Kitchen to use. Nice lounge area.
