Saubere Unterkunft mit echt fairen Preisen. Die Decken sind leider etwas hellhörig und die Duschen etwas dürftig. Das sind aber nur Kleinigkeiten.
La Guayunga is a great hostel that has a quieter and more peaceful vibe. If you are looking for a place that is welcoming and not a party environment this is the place to be. It is on a great street that feels completely safe and the family that runs it are very nice and welcoming!!
this place has potential - in a good spot and nice bones but needs a serious update, I think you can get more even for the cheap price at other places. our room was soo smelly and had marks all over the sheets (I slept in my sleeping bag), it was freezing and uninviting. common spaces were similar - old, run down, dingy and cold. bathrooms were clean enough but again need some love. No kitchen facilities and no drinking water available.
Everything is basic but okay. The lockers are out in the hallway. The rooftop is really nice, cute atmosphere and great view! The bathrooms are honestly disgusting, so smelly and no soap provided. For the low price it is okay, I would have preferred to pay a little extra for a clean bathroom
When we arrived our room wasn’t ready for us and they tried to make us have a dorm instead of the private we’d booked. Then when we insisted, they turned over the bedroom in front of us. They didn’t empty the bin, and didn’t wash the blankets between guests. We watched them make the bed with the same used blankets from the guests before us. The showers were disgusting and cold. We stayed here twice, 1st time was upon arrival at 4/5am after returning from an Amazon trip & having nowhere booked. Kindly took us in & were gonna let us sleep in the common room till 11 but we asked for a room. 2nd time we stayed we booked a dorm as we were trying to book a night bus to Manta & only wanted the bed to have somewhere to leave bags until our night bus. The girl volunteering on reception was totally amazing helping us book the bus online. So were the owners, really lovely.

Lovely staff, very accommodating! Good location, clean rooms and hot water. Would definitely return next time we’re in Quito
The Hostal has everything you want when traveling. Laundry service, taxi service, linkages to tours, a small store, and a roof top restaurant. It is walking distance to many attractions.
Globalement sale, et surtout aucun cadrage de la part de l’équipe en ce qui concerne les règles de bienséance et de respect chez les usagers, ma pote s’est presque fait vomir dessus par un mec rentré bourré au milieu de la nuit, elle a dû nettoyer elle même et aucune intervention n’a été faite par les gestionnaires, personne dispo pendant la nuit, même pas un numéro.

Bien ubicado. A unos minutos del centro. Saliendo de la estación Hermanos Miguel. Que está bien conectado con las principales terminales de transporte. Buena relación precio por la estancia. Con todos los servicios. Quizá la cocina necesita más atención y limpieza. El personal siempre amigable.
Pretty decent hostel, nothing wrong with them at all. Nice rooftop bar and kitchen with a great view or the city. Not much atmosphere though
Just stayed here for a a few hours at night between Amazon tour and Galapagos. They helped me arrange an airport taxi which was nice. Overall seems like a nice hostel. Slept well 👍🏼
It was really not a nice stay in the hostel. I didn't like the atmosphere, the bathroom was not clean, and at night people kept ringing the bell, I guess no one opend in time. Loud music, seems like a party hostel... the staff was nice tho.
Reception staff were excellent. Bathrooms were super clean. My room was large and clean. WiFi reception was great. Hot showers. Kitchen facilities were not very good. I ate out while there. Not a very social place but very friendly. Overall I would definitely go back and recommend it.
Gutes Hostel um ein bis zwei Nächte vor der Amazonas-Tour zu verbringen. Ansonsten etwas spärlich eingerichtet und die Bäder könnten etwas sauberer sein. Zimmer waren sauber und das Frühstück ist für den Preis sehr gut.

A nice and quiet hostel with lovely staff! A very popular hostel at the other side of the street makes this hostel the underdog, but this one deserves more attention!
