The Host Bed & Meeting

I 100% recommend The Host in Puerto Iguazú. If you're looking for a place to stay for your waterfall adventure, definitely consider this one. The staff was super helpful, communicative and gave many recommendations for the city. The volunteers were lovely too, and there's a volunteer led activity every evening that you can join to get to know other people. Beds are decent, have curtains and lockable lockers. The included breakfast is nice too! 10/10 would stay again.

Eines der besten Hostels auf meiner einjährigen Reise durch Nord-, Mittel- und Südamerika! Ich fühlte mich persönlich willkommen, die Mitarbeiter sind supernett, die Aktivitäten tragen dazu bei, dass man Kontakt bekommt. Und die Ausstattung ist sehr sinnvoll, kleine Einzelheiten wie ein Vorhang oder ein Extraschränkchen am Bett geben Privatsphäre und Komfort.

Great atmosphere, the hostel workers were lovely. The balcony and common areas are beautiful, the beds are comfortable and equipped with curtains. I was able to store my luggage for a few hours before check in.

I spent a week at "The Host" Hostel and felt very welcome from the first moment. The incredibly friendly and helpful staff and volunteers create a really pleasant atmosphere and make the hostel feel like home with activities and communal meals. The beds have curtains and are equipped with a locker and a small light. Good breakfast and a central location. I can highly recommend this hostel to everyone. People are friendly, but the building feels a bit outdated, and the cleaning wasn’t very thorough. There are too few bathrooms for the number of people, and the kitchen, in particular, is not very well organized.

Localização perfeita, ambientes limpos, banheiros suficientes e cozinha bem equipada. A cama era confortável, luz e tomadas individuais e tinha uma cortina o que ajuda na privacidade.

Perfekt für einen kleinen Trip nach Iguacu, mit netten Aktivitäten und einem entspannten Social Bereich. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett, wir würden nochmal wieder kommen!

Bed sheets haven't been washed! The guy at the front was supposed to let me know if they had availability for the next day...... he forgot! And then a ted as if he was looking for me to tell me. But I was waiting in my room the whole time. Very inconsiderate! Maybe uf I was a female i would of received and answer!

This hostel did not quite live up to it’s rating. The state it’s in now is certainly different to the pictures. Was hanging outside the gate for a while as the receptionist was missing. The toilet seat is hanging loose, there were several electricity blackouts, insects around the kitchen tops, etc. They is also a pet cat living inside, which i’m allergic to… On the positive side, the shower stream was good and the friendships made.

The hostel is really nice, central and safe. Super friendly staff and It have a lot of activities for to do.

Has everything you need: pool, communal space, nice kitchen, wifi ,lockers. Person in charge is very friendly and helpful. Only problem with the place is the strange smell. Not too sure where it came from but annoying.

Very good hostel, close to the bus station. Great costumer service, Was easy to meet traveller's and make friends.
