Stayed here because it was labeled the “best hostel in Argentina”, but this did not meet the mark. It’s charming but outdated, very small, and extremely noisy—walls are paper thin. Doors slam throughout the night, and late-night activity (like people playing ping pong at midnight) makes it hard to sleep. Staff isn’t available overnight, which complicated checkout when doors were locked. Fine for a budget stay, but if you value rest and convenience, I’d recommend a hotel.
Lovely family run hostel, the best dog & good facilities. Highly recommend!
Perfect! 2 clean kitchens, amazing open and green spaces, very nice and clean room, helpful staff. It was very quiet and seemed family friendly.
One of the nicest hostels ive stayed in, family run, everyone working was so kind and friendly, especially Thor!!!
Great family run hostel - with good common areas to meet people. I was here in shoulder season but even with less people was easy to meet people. Staff were super friendly and accommodating!
Really easy and welcoming! Had a Nice stay.
very warm vibe, family run and lovely staff. short walk from bus terminal that takes you to the falls so great location. had a lovely stay here!
Lovely stay at Tucan. Staff were really helpful, super close to the bus station to get to the falls. Let me shower before my bus after I’d checked out, nice pool right in the sun. Didn’t see many people around at the hostel but used the chat and found people to go to the falls with!
Cute, family-run hostel with a nice, relaxed vibe. The family were friendly and welcoming. Communication was a bit limited, but they were still helpful when needed. Great location too, close to the bus stop and restaurants. Laundry service was a bit expensive.
The staff didn’t speak any english and was very sketchy. The vibe too was not very good - lucky l stayed only for 1 night. Not very clean and a lot of ants were present in the kitchen. Very loud place and sleep is difficult.
cómodo, bien ubicado y excelente atencion
excelente 👌
I had a wonderful stay at this hostel!’
Amazing location, very clean rooms and toilets - felt like home. I arrived quite late at 3 am in the morning and Maru was super helpful, stayed awake to make sure I had a smooth check-in and also gave good local recommendations. Overall, it's been a great experience and I'd definitely come back.
loved my stay at Tucan! I only marked it down for atmosphere but it's off season so to be expected. everything is super clean, there are two pools and two kitchen spaces, good AC. they let me stay late on check out to use the pool/shower/store bags etc. Staff are super friendly and helpful and tolerated my basic Spanish/Google translate use! Just be aware it's cash only to pay
Property was great, only stayed one night after I visited the Iguazu Falls on Argentina side. One of the woman at the hostel recommended a great Italian restaurant nearby. Stayed in female dorm, very clean. Bathroom is across the hall. No chargers next to the bed. Only issue I had was an early morning flight both gates were locked and my uber driver had to help me get out. So it’s definitely secure! Recommend if you’re staying on the Argentina side
Property was nice and the staff was lovely. They gave me directions to a nice Italian restaurant nearby for dinner that was well priced. Facilities were clean. There isn’t a charger next to every bed. Nice pool area and two kitchens. I did have an early morning flight and it was quite difficult to figure out how to unlock the gates but felt secure lol. I only stayed for one night but the hostel seemed social as well. Nice place to stay on the Argentina side of the falls.
