Dario was a great host and we had a great time at the hostel for our short trip up in Iguazú. Would definitely recommend
Good value for money. Nice and clean hostel with a sinple breakfast included and helpful staff. Far from the central bus station but close to another bus station. Good for a budget stay.
If you are visiting Puerto Iguazu you must stay at Lost & Found. Best hostel we have sayed in and very friendly host. Dario is exceptionally helpful and even upgraded us to a private room free of charge (we visited in the 'off season'). Would definitely visit again!
Dario is an absolute legend, felt like you were staying with one of your mates who also happened to own the place! Went above and beyond and was truely passionate about what he has going. Very basic facilities but you come to expect that staying in hostels, if you want more then book a hotel! A bit out of town but close enough to the necessities (bus stop, supermarket). Overall would stay here again, would be more beneficial if you’re with a group vs solo
Clean, tidy rooms and a cozy, homey atmosphere made for a comfortable stay. Dario was especially welcoming and friendly. The hostel is about a 30-minute walk from the bus terminal, and it’s just a 10-minute walk from the Triple Frontier. However, I think I was the only guest there during my stay, which didn’t feel ideal as a solo traveler.
This is a little further out on roads that can be dark/creepy if a solo female traveller (I did have an uncomfortable experience). Just one other person staying while I stayed, although it's off season. The host is friendly. Kitchen equipment was the worst I've had in a hostel so far e.g. rusty knives. I feel bad for the rating as the host is lovely but needs to be an accurate representation of my experience
Nice hostel a bit out of the way. Dario was lovely and gave some recommendations. The breakfast was a boiled egg and three very thin rounds of bread. Nice pool but we didn’t go in. They sell beer for quite cheap. Pretty chill
Thank you so much for the stay Dario. It has been my best hostel experience so far, your hospitality is unmatched. Cannot recommend this hostel enough, Dario is the man for Iguazu!!
Really nice staff, and cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was good. They helped arrange a shared taxi with some other guests to go to the Iguazu Falls. Would stay there again.
Incredible stay !! Darío is so helpful and welcoming he made the stay very memorable!! Highly recommend!!
Great hostel, nice rooms, good ac, close to bus stop that takes you to the falls. Dario was a great host, made us feel so welcome and did everything he could to help us, even made breakfast for us early as we needed to leave to get a flight.
Great place to stay at while travelling to the iguazu falls. Close to the bus stop, really clean, and the best part: Dario. A great host that makes you feel welcome immediately and has the best tips.
We had the best stay at Lost and Found! Incredible value for money with cosy rooms, multiple chill-out areas and even a pool. Dario made everything — great English, brilliant local tips, and he organised shared taxis to the falls so we could save money. The Argentine BBQ night with wine was such a fun, social experience. The whole place has a warm, welcoming vibe and we felt at home instantly. Couldn’t recommend it more — thank you for an unforgettable stay! 🇦🇷✨
Dario is a nice bloke and a good host. The hostel is a chill vibe and the people that stayed there at the same time I did were nice. We used the hostel as a base and moved around to do both the Brazil side and Argentina side of the falls. Ultimately it is a nice place to stay in a good location. Thanks Dario for having me
+ I stayed for 8 days at the Lost and Found Hostel,, in was great, Dario and his mum are lovely people,,who go out of thier way to help the guests have an enjoyable time in Puerto Iguazu. There is a lot to do and see in the area,, I spent a great morning, riding a horse, in the Jungle, to a native village,, a memory I will always treasure. Matt Greene. 0
The nice staff, good location but facilities was not enough. The shower was very small and wasnt working properly. It was very old. The breakfast was so basic even I told them I was leaving very early the breakfast wasnt ready on time as it should be supposto be ready at 8 am.
We had a great time staying at Lost and Found hostel. Dario is very helpful whenever you have questions. The hostel is social but not to busy which we liked very much. Also the pool to cool off is a plus.
Great hostel in a good location, host was super friendly and helpful , would definitely return here if I was going to iguazu
Dario is a super friendly guy who loves providing a service for others. He gets very excited whenever he talks about his hostel and you can clearly feel his passion for that. The hostel is super close to the tri-border area which is cool. There is a super nice restaurant close by as well. Dario is gonna recommend that to you. Bus stop is close enough as well. All in all I defo recommend the place for your stay in Iguazu!
