the hostel was clean and cozy , even i was alone in the hostel i felt safe the owner such a coooool and greaat man with style 😍 i spent a goood time there i will be back as sooon as caan cuz i loove it there 5 stars 🌟

Horrible, stay away from this hostel. Booked and arrived on time, but no one was there. Waited almost an hour. Host later said he couldn’t receive us. No refund received. Very unreliable.

nice overall but service awful

Terrible place. No hot water. No wifi. Nothing was working. No toilet paper. No toilet soap. One single person looking after things. And all he did was blame the locals for everything. No reception. Nothing.

Die Zimmertür war nicht abzuschließen, sie konnte trotz Schloss geöffnet werden. Die Küche war nicht wirklich funktionsfähig, es fehlte der Herd. Großer Vorteil waren die Heizung, da es bei unserem Aufenthalt recht kalt war und das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker.

Was greeted by the host at arrival and had a nice chat. Not many around because of low-season. Place is clean, spacious, comfortable and relaxing. Quiet street with no barking dogs. Comfy mattresses. Big rooftop terrace with many sections and good views. Close to cheap and good tajine, and breakfast restaurants.

Very nice stay at this beautiful riad in the medina ! I higly recommend it

L’auberge en tant que tel était super belle, super bon emplacement, et la terrasse est vraiment grande est magnifique. Mais manque réellement d’équipement, il y avait très peu de couvert et rien pour cuisiner. Zéro poubelle non plus donc pas très pratique. L’endroit est très propre, mais pas très sécurisée, les portes sont constamment ouvertes et impossibilités de fermer à clés ou protéger nos affaires dans des lockers. Le personnel est rarement là, et on nous a pas rendu...

+ very nice host + great breakfast included + good location + lovely rooftop terrace - quite cold at night in february - we booked a double room with an en-suite bathroom, but the door was broken. so absolutely no privacy when using the toilet or showering. we were able to use the communal bathrooms, though.

I booked one night in this hostel. On arrival the hostel had changed its name to Cactus Rooms, while the old name Riad Baraka was still on the door. Online they appear under both names. The lights were on but the door stayed locked. I rang multiple times, called after check-in started and received no answer. They were also unreachable by WhatsApp and email. After waiting again at a closed door, I had to leave and request a refund.

Location, cleanliness, staff were all great. Breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable. Couldn’t get the water hot and it was pretty cold, only issue we had.

Clean property. No towel available, staff not present, no door key!

Location was fine but a bit of a walk from the taxi. No one was there for check-in—just an envelope w/ my name. A guest had to explain how check-in worked. Room was clean, but lock was broken & given wrong keys. Manager was rude; threw keys on a table to figure out, ignored my email about towels, demanded payment yet disappeared every time I tried, later told us to leave for smoking out the window even though we saw him smoking in the room himself! Clean place, terrible & unprofessional manage...

I liked: -the location -cleanliness -hot shower I didn’t like the total abscence of reception, I never saw anyone there, the door was always open and even by phone I couldn’t reach then. Complete lack of communication. Also there’s written free breakfast and the first picture of the hostel is breakfast and no breakfast was offered

Achtung: Es gibt kein Frühstück in diesem Hostel. Das steht auch ganz klein in der Beschreibung, aber das fällt natürlich niemandem auf. Dachterasse ist sehr schön und es super gut gelegen. Wir hatten keine Probleme mit dem Host, aber haben mitbekommen, dass es wohl manchmal Probleme mit ihm gab.

Hele slechte ervaring hier gehad, de eigenaar is super onaardig, er is de hele dag niemand dus het is super onduidelijk hoe in te checken. De deur is altijd open en er zijn geen lockers voor je spullen. Ik had 2 nachten geboekt en toen ik de tweede dag in de middag terug kwam waren al mijn spullen letterlijk in de hal gegooid met een briefje erbij “again booking canceled”. Niemand die me iets kon uitleggen of vertellen waarom. Daarnaast heeft hij meerdere mensen ook te veel laten betalen...

I stayed at this hostel for 3 days, and it was by far the cleanest I’ve experienced in Morocco! At first, I was hesitant due to mixed reviews, but everything was perfect. The owner is super kind .Check-in is self-service and very easy. The terrace has an amazing view. Located at the Medina entrance, it’s close to markets, restaurants, and attractions. Safe, comfortable, and highly recommended!

Die Unterkunft war Top, der Besitzer war ein mega gechillter Typ, der uns auch paar Sachen empfohlen hat (akchour warerfalls). jedoch hatten wir ein blöde Situation, denn wir waren bis 2 Uhr nachts unterwegs und sind dann nicht mehr ins Hostel gekommen, glücklicherweise hat uns ein Gast gehört und aufgemacht.
