Nomadic Surf Camp

Incroyable. Cette auberge m’a fait aimer Uvita tellement que j’en rêve régulièrement. C’est pour moi le plus bel endroit où j’ai été, et un des moments les plus magiques dont je parlerai à mes enfants dans quelques années.

A lovely little place filled with plants & wildlife! It’s a beautiful area, and the owner was very welcoming offering free coffee each morning and snacks of fruit. They give discounted surf hire for those staying! It’s in the process of being renovated but it’s on its way to being a beautiful hostel! We really enjoyed our stay. Be mindful that the dorm doors don’t lock or shut properly but the area is safe, so we didn’t find it much of a problem.

The host is super friendly and nice. But there is only one toilet for whole place and no possiblity to put your stuff on the locked place. Everyone can just walk inside the rooms, since the rooms are located outside and the "doors" are just canvases. It's also not possible to lock the "doors". There is also many holes in the room so bugs can come inside. The kitchen was also located outside so it was full of ants. Also trash on the property. But Location is good, right next to national park!

Very weird vibe here at the hostel. Everyone there seemed like there were there for the long haul and made it obvious they were out when we arrived. We arrived in the late afternoon and they had to go and change the sheets, which they said had been sitting dirty for a few days, before we got to our bed. The kitchen was filthy as well as the shower and toilet.

overall we enjoyed our stay and the hostel is located right on the beach which was lovely! The staff weren’t very accommodating, we were placed into an ‘girls only’ room and had 2 boys placed with us. There is only one toilet, lots of ants and bushes very overgrown. Communal space normally taken up by staff.

Amazing vibes and location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming and location is great as it’s almost right on the beach. Highly recommend.

No hay que fiarse de las fotografías publicadas, no tienen nada que ver. La linpieza es más bien escueta, casi nula, así como el español. La ubicación es perfecta, por eso da un poco de rabia que no cuiden el lugar. Muy descuidado todo, el jardín, la entrada, los baños,,, falta mucho trabajo que hacer para mantenerlo limpio y bonito.

Schönes Hostel, alles hell und offen. Dadurch aber auch in den Zimmern sehr feucht. Liegt sehr nah am Strand - dieser kostet aber Eintritt. 45min zu Fuß vom Busterminal

Lovely staff, great atmosphere and perfect location by the beach!

the hostel was nice. location was good to be on the beach but it is far from main part of town. it’s small and felt like camping. it was pretty cool though. the manager Manon was very nice we really liked her. The rest of the volunteers were not kind at all. they never talked to us unless they were being rude. they had a problem with us everytime we went to rent a surf board it seemed like. we have been to this hostel before and the old volunteers were way nicer so that can be hit or miss.

À côté de la plage, la cuisine est très bien et l’espace commun est agréable. L’ambiance est relaxe et les employés aidants et très gentils. Si vous êtes un filet à moustiques humains comme moi, pt pas l’idéal car complètement ouvert, y compris les chambres. Aussi, si vous êtes pudiques, la porte des douches sont très petites et donne sur l’extérieur, peut être un tout petit peu déstabilisant:) mais over un belle expérience!

The place was advertised completely different than how it actually was. In the picture there was a hot tub but there wasn’t really one in real life. The pillows had severe mold on them and under the bedsheets there were dead ants. There was only one sheet given in the bed, no towels, no covers. There wasn’t AC and the door (a tarp) wouldn’t fully shut and no way of locking it to protect your stuff. The shower and bathrooms are outside, with little privacy. Tout est là: douches, toilettes, cuisine, lounge, internet mais tout est de base et tout se passe dans la nature. Directement à côté de la plage mais celle-ci fait partie du parc national donc il faut payer. On a été chanceux d’avoir l’entrée gratuite car le garde n’avait plus de billets à vendre. Un peu loin de la ville mais il y a quelques commerces autour. Personnel très attentif à nos besoins, que ce soit pour la chambre ou planche de surf. Un endroit super zen pour se r...

This is a really cool hostel with some great staff, I had a good two nights here and would stay again. I only wish that all the fans worked.

Das Hostel ist schön klein und liegt direkt am Strand. Es ist super schön aufgebaut und es ist sehr einfach anderern Reisenden kennenzulernen. Ich kann das Hostel nur weiterempfehlen.

es war wirklich richtig süß da - es ist zwar alles draußen, aber das macht überhaupt nichts. Und wirklich nah am Strand.. :)

Je suis venu pour 3 nuits et suis resté 6 de plus ! L’auberge est proche de l’océan, vous entendrez le bruit des vagues en vous endormant ! Julian est toujours prêt à vous faire découvrir les environs en vous emmenant en van : cascades, plages, cours de salsa et j’en passe ! Mention spéciale à Nathan, Yacsidy et Imke qui ont été au petit soins ! Coup de cœur

The guy who runs the hostel is kind. Hostel was overbooked so we were moved to private room which was lovely. Kitchen was a bit small and communal space could be better.
