Great hostel. Well managed, great location and easy to meet other travelers.

The location is great, really close to a nice beach and really close to the main street of Dominical. The pool is lovely and the common areas are good, the only thing is that the rooms have no a/c and they are freaking hot, I contemplated sleeping outside for a moment

Nous avons eu un très beau séjour au cool vibes hostel, on a même prolongé d’une nuit de plus. Autrement, l’hostel est super bien situé, près de la plage. Les équipements sur place sont très bien, la cuisine est grande et pratique. Je vous recommande d’y aller!! :)

La pasé super bien, muy buen ambiente, la gente super abierta, se siente como familia, Rodrigo y todos los empleados siempre atentos y amables! Seguro que volvere!

Fine if all you need is a place to crash after surfing &partying: it is hot, full of mosquitos &sand flies, &very dirty. Pool over-bleached. I don’t drink: so uncomfortable that I slept 3hrs/n. Kitchen has very filthy towels, smells like urine. Outlets in the dorm are blown out,fans don’t work. A day after checkout I was invited by some guests to share brunch: despite MANY exceptions/visitors the staff singled me out to leave immediately as I cleaned up. truly no complaints, this place was such an awesome stay! basically on the beach, great location, easy walk to a couple restaurants/bars, super kind staff, and an actually “cool vibes” atmosphere. so affordable too, definitely recommend this place if you’re thinking of staying in this area!!!

Great place to stay! Super helpful staff and lots of room to hangout plus a good pool and large kitchen. Each bed also has its own fan although the mattresses are a little outdated. Super close walk to everything. Would definitely come back :)

Hilary was an amazing receptionist. All receptionists were nice and helpful. So close to the beach. It is a family hostel. So quiet hours. Much more chill vibes

Very nice dorms, super big and spread out with a balcony. Connected bathroom and nice shower with hot water. Super close to the beach, rentable surf boards. Wonderful kitchen area, big and has everything you need. The common areas were beautiful and had lots of different seating options. The pool was really nice too! Overall a great place to stay in Dominical for a quick stopover:)

Great chillin place to stay in Dominical!

Overall this is a pretty good hostel let down by the dorm rooms. Facilities (i.e. kitchen, pool, common areas) are all great and it's in a fantastic location. Staff are incredibly nice and friendly. However the dorm rooms are a bit run down, not well designed and the beds are uncomfortable (terrible pillow). Seems like a great place to stay if you get a private

Needs a bit of love and care. Private rooms might be ok but shared rooms could use a face lift and bigger fans. Pool very small and there are only two long chairs but it is very close to beach and not too too far from town. Nice lounge area.

Been coming to cool vibes for a few years now and it’s as good as I remember it. Big enough to have space yet small enough for that hostel family vide, easy to meet people. Super close to surf and close enough to town/super markets. Staff are amazing. Don’t think about it just book

Very nice hostel, nice to be at, good common space + seating possibilities in front of the rooms too. Plants make it pretty as well. I really like it!

was everything perfect

The hostel is located right by the beach and offers lovely private rooms. The staff is friendly and accommodates your wishes (we booked a room with a fan and we're able to upgrade to a room with air-conditioning). I would stay here again if I was visiting Dominical :)
