Low atmosphere, super commercial. Many very young Georgians hanging out there. Staff just doing their job — fine. Decent cheap place to sleep. Maybe better to just grab a beer there on the weekend if you want a social place.
This place has a great ambience
I don‘t recommend Fabrika to stay if you are looking for a hostel. It’s functions like a hotel but with very unfriendly staff. They have put in the minimum effort possible. No common room, no curtains on the beds. The bar is super hard to meet fellow travellers so you are reliant on the Hostelworld chat. I asked the staff for a recommendation for an activity and they said no. I‘ve stayed in about 90 hostels and they are top 5 for most unfriendly staff.
I had amazing experience at this Hostel, but at night it gets too noisy atmosphere very hard to get sleep, there is no kitchen facilities in hostel, also shower room was closed on 1st floor. But overall I enjoyed staying there.
Had horrible experience. Could not sleep because of music. Do not recommend
great social hub. would have liked to see more organised events, but I think I may have travelled in the low season
The place is really fun and perfect to hangout as there are bars and restaurants in the courtyard! sanitary are also clean and nice, the dispensers are useful but I wish we had access to a kitchen or a tea/coffee area, or like a chilling / common room that's not noisy like the bars downstairs
The hostel was Okay, massive and felt like more of a hotel. They did offer events and the location is good! Bathrooms are kinda gross but get what you pay for.
Its a good hostel if youre looking to stay out late and want your bed right next to where the nightlife is. I could barely sleep (went to bed around 10ish) with people coming in and out and the air con being in front of me. If youre sightseeing and need a good nights rest, go somewhere else.
Very nice central hub to explore the city from. A good vibe
I really liked it. I only stayed one night, a Saturday, because I was planning to check out the courtyard, but I was too tired. I had heard this place can be too loud, but the staff was nice enough to put me in a room way off to the side by myself (even though I booked a dorm), so I slept really well. Don't forget to calculate in your deposit when paying the balance.
The lobby is great and the rooms are clean. If you're in Fabrika for partying or if you want to work anonymously its a great location. But you will not make a lot of connections and most importantly: The kitchen was a complete joke and has now been closed. As long as you dont wanna stay in a hostel where you can't even make yourself a cup of tea, Fabrika is not for you.
A huge hostel with a unique style. Great restaurants and bars in the backyard, which also attracts a lot of locals it seems. Noise from the party was not an issue in the room I had at least. Comfortable beds. To make it even better it would be nice to have a place to hang the jackets in the room and soap dispensers in the showers.
Staff so friendly especially zizi in the reception
Une salle commune ouverte a tous tres agreable. Cuisine tres peu équipé, sanitaires endommager et tres sal, douches casser et sol extrêmement sal, tres mauvaise hygiène
Fabrika is a very cool hostel with lots of interesting art and beautiful plants. The bathrooms are mostly clean, but they have little privacy in the showers. The shower also requires you to continuously press the button for the water to come out, which was a bit frustrating, but I can confirm that the showers have hot water. The rooms are more spacious and have more ventilation than the rooms at Envoy.
Much cleaner than I expected, really large rooms with tables in them, cool vibe. Like others mentioned, no common area to meet folks (although there is a "hostel meetup" table which is hard to see in the lobby). There are events available, the coffee shop inside is overpriced. The bathrooms are relatively clean but many sinks and showers are broken, and showers work by pressing a button every 5 seconds for water. Loud in rooms at night, no way to block out bright light from outside, no curtains.
